"Borrowers must be a first-generation home buyer, defined as any person whose parents or guardian never owned a home during the home buyer’s lifetime or lost the home to a foreclosure or short sale and do not own a home now. The home buyers are required to pay back the $25k upon selling the house. I can see pros and cons to this. Pros are it would help people buy a home. Cons are it may drive up housing prices. But since companies are a part of the problem buying housing at inflated prices to use as rental properties they would not benefit.

Not totally bad, not totally good.

edit: absolute fkin bull**** if this applies to non-citizens and illegal aliens.

When I was 7 the dept. of social services placed me into foster care (custody of the state) but I was only there for about 3 weeks before my dad got custody back. Dead srs. Does this mean I qualify for Biden’s program even though both of my parents own homes?
