Chits grim, why would any person with at least a somewhat refined palate slap that crap on a burger over a good aged cheddar or something?

Land O' Lakes White American Cheese is the best cheese for sandwiches, grilled cheese, and on burgers. Only Land O' Lakes though.

It's garbage, but I think it's more of a convenience, price thing. It's cheap and easy. In last 5 years you are seeing prepackaged slices of real cheese becoming more and more popular. It's just that before that normal cheese was only available in a block and americans are too lazy to slice the cheese.

Its good on some very specific kinds of cheeseburgers and grilled cheese sandwiches.

Other than that, almost every american prefers other cheeses. All other cheeses.

Not like vegemite, which is universally disgusting and im convinced is an elaborate and useless trolljob by australians.

I prefer cheddar for most things, but American cheese is pretty good for grilled cheese sandwich. I watch a lot of street food vids on YouTube and I think South Koreans like American cheese more than Americans.

Yes American cheese is awful. Any processed cheese product makes me sick, srs. Even the nacho cheese/queso dip crap you buy out of a can or jar. **** is nasty, srs.

Lol at cheese snobs. The cheaper, simpler, and less pungent the cheese, the better. Cheese should be as close as possible to milk in solid form. That's not to excuse processed chit that isn't actually cheese either, but lol at "aged" cheese.

British people generally don't eat stuff like that daily for breakfast. And if they do they compliment it with the rest of the works, black pudding/bacon/mushrooms/fried bread etc

best melting cheese and it's not even close. Great on burgers, grilled cheeses, and I mix with cheddar in my scrambled eggs for melty gooey goodness.

Also, the GOAT Bobby flay uses it on burgers soooo there goes the refined pallet comment. It has its uses
