Further proof that the dualsense is the goat controller

Crazy. Still amazes me how you can tell the difference in surfaces in Astro’s Playroom just by feel.

Dual Sense makes it hard to go back and play games that dont have its features.

Borderlands 3 feels like a whole new game with the PS5 upgrades and most importantly the dual sense features. The feeling of shooting its guns is so damn satisfying. I tried Destiny 2 to mess around it, but without dualsense feedback the game just felt so off and apparently people praise the gunplay in that game? nah, compare the shooting between Borderlands 3 and Destiny, rn Borderlands is a clear winner thanks to its dualsense implementation.

Sony created the goat controller 2 gens back to back.

I agree it's hard to play games without good DualSense support now. It's actually now one of the things I look for when I decide what game I may jump into next.

Remember when Jay thought haptic feedback and adaptive triggers were the same a rumble triggers? (He probably still does) Just lmfao....

This false narrative of xbox and switch controllers already using the same features that the dualsense has is definitely the biggest cope I've seen from the other side.

>"Xbox already has those rumble and triggers"

>Microsoft meanwhile sends out a questionnaire to xboxers if they want dualsense features on the xbox

This honestly should have been the ads they ran last year .... this shows a great job of visually showcasing how the dualsense rumbles and triggers feel like to people that havnt tried it out yet.

Am I the only one who plays with vibration off
Part of the reason is longer battery
I don't check my CP, IDC about reps/negs

I would of loved this like 2 years ago, but now I prefer to play with all vibration and crap off. Makes it a lot easier to game and also saves battery life.

It's a nice feature, hopefully xbox adopts this as it really makes a difference for immersion.

Which games use it best? I don’t really play console shooters. Was thinking Returnal looked cool though, even though 70 bucks is pretty steep. I played Demon Souls at launch but I can’t recall if it did anything with the Dual Sense.

Lot of previewers praising Returnal's implementation in the previews. I'm wondering if it comes out it'll have the best implementation in a mainline game yet

Spiderman uses it for webs, but it's quite subtle

Astro playroom does it exceptionally well.

Borderlands 3 is pretty nice.

Call of Duty does it ok, but they add resistance to the ADS too, which feels kinda stupid imo

My fav is steam controller. I've never used a dual sense although Switch does a really amazing job with its haptic feedback (mario party takes good advantage of it)

I mostly agree, It's a super great controller (from reading about it and watching videos). Most innovative controller since the Wii and Wii Motion Plus.

Astro nails it harder than anything else I have played. Some iterations are so bad it's clear the dev just wanted to add support and put no time into it, biggest example of this for me and what I have played is Control, it's so bad. I have heard Sackboy, Avengers, and WRC9 do it very well but haven't played them. Just Google it, the info is out there. Returnanal is getting praised for DualSense as well. I think moving forward we will see all SIE games nail it (RnC hnnnng), and many 3rd parties at least support it, while some will do it better than others.

Yea, that never happened, I have always praised MS controllers, from trigger rumble, to the Elite, build quality, etc. You are just trying to save face from your moronic comment. Please provide a link to where I said anything like that in regards to Xbox rumble triggers.

Furthermore, do you still not realize the difference between rumble triggers and adaptive triggers?

Legit, I've never once read on here that a "sony fan" ever mocked the xbox's rumbles or what not ..... I'd actually like to see any posts proving me posts otherwise it's just Jay talking up stuff or probably some random throwaway comment made from a troll that somehow became the narrative for all sony fans.

I actually just bought avengers and played a bit of it (dont start with me *******) ... and it's "ok" ... I mean it's nothing special other than just some extra resistance on the triggers for firing modes and some turbulence like effect when you use characters that use flight. Yes, an argument can be made that most 3P companies are kinda just doing the bare minimum atm for the dualsense ...... But ngl, I'm actually enjoying how it's being implemented so far ... that extra resistance and feel just adds a lot more depth and immersiveness when you're playing SINGLE player modes for a lot of games and I definitely miss it if it's not implemented ..... Yeah, for multiplayer the rumbles/triggers can affect you especially if you're some competitive autist, but overall it's such a great feature and like I said before, I cant picture playing games anymore without these features.

Can confirm duelsense in WRC9 is incredible, much better than Dirt 5, which is still decent.

Skill-Up (certified Sony hater and dik licker) praises two of PS5's "gimmicks", DualSense and 3D audio use in Return-anal.

I was going to get WRC9 after hearing all the praise but looks like it's just time trials and you never race anyone? I'd imagine this getting boring?
