So who here actually moved from NYC/CA/Chicago this year?

The data shows that quite a few people left NYC, SF, Chicago for red states such as Texas, Florida, TN, and Ohio in the last year. Who here actually made that move and how has it been living so far in one of these states?

I did. Very good decision, ended up moving last August. My life hasn't changed all that much, I do the same things I did in a big east coast city except for cheaper and without any lockdowns, and the politics here are conservative to moderate, mostly people stay out of your business. I keep more of my money live in a bigger house and still work remotely. 10/10 decision, would make again.

more importantly, who moved from those places and brought all their idiot libtarded ideals with them to ruin the new place they moved to?

Stop doing that.

Can confirm, My neighbor house just sold, imagine that, they are from Cali. I told him to get Idaho plates ASAP. Priority #1 but he decided to build me a new fence today and tomorrow. I'll let it slide for now

The suburbs suck in general. I'll bet your experience would be far different if you were closer to downtown.

I mean Chicago is a great affordable urban city, so it's tough to compete. Chicago is the the best value play outside of Dallas and the only city really similar to Chicago is NYC. NYC will be fun once it returns to normal. My problem with Chicago, while a top destination, is the weather is atrocious so many months of the year.

All the suburbs where I live are comfy af and lots of nice nature preserves or views. And suburban girls are always more attractive unless you're talking about trendy areas of a big city.

Moved from Idaho to California for maximum muscle confusion.

Boise stopped being worth living in around 2015. The only reason people ever moved there was low population density ("cheap housing", "close to nature", "slower pace of life", "less taxes"; "no SJW cucks" - it all translates to low population). Now there's people. All the good parts about Boise have been rekt, and all its weaknesses (one of the lowest paying job markets in America, terrible schools, sprawl), are still in place.

As one Redditor said, "a boomtown used to mean something was booming. Now it just means there's cheap housing."

The Cali*******s who ruined my home can all fukking drop dead.

No you aren’t *******. There are no good ones. You are part of the problem ruining this state. Even if you think you’ll fit in because of your conservative gun loving values, you are still fuking despised for being an ass clown californian. 10 years ago things were quiet and affordable. Now it’s turning into a dumpster fire and those days are gone. **** you.

Yeah seriously. Fuk them all. I’m up north in the pan handle and it’s fuking ruined. I can imagine that boise is far worse. Idaho is not Idaho anymore. I will probably leave eventually and would right now if it wasn’t for my job
