Fuark - Singapore brah attacked in London

I'll point out this was a month ago. Nothing was open in Leicester Square, and this was 1 in the morning. He doesnt describe the attacker when asked, and no arrests have been made as of today..

There is A LOT that doesnt add up here

Yeah maybe... I see you're from UK you probably know Leicester Square is like super central, very touristic, center of entertainment district. Lots of hotels around, lots of tourists around. Sure maybe stuff wasn't open but some tourists (and students like this guy) are still coming to london and people will still go out for walks and things, especially young people. Do you think they just sit inside their room at 10 pm now?

I don't know that it's so weird that this guy was out at 1am. I was just in London a few months ago and even with everything closed I still went on some walks after midnight... even in similar areas in Westminster. No one tried to rob me though...

I can only speak from this n=1 example but my Korean flatmate got robbed in exactly the same fashion in August 2020 on Piccadilly at 11PM and no one helped him srs.

the oddest bit is he was asked for a description and his 'attacker' was 100 yards away. He said 'ill give you a description later???' the police would likely have picked him up straight away with a half decent description, which anyone there could have done..

I don't know... I still saw a bunch of tourists during lockdown when I was in London... people who didn't know where they were, were taking photos of touristic chit, etc. Maybe they were students or recent immigrants on work visas I don't know...

Regardless I more was just saying that it's not crazy to be outside at 1 am in center of city when you're in a new city as a student, even if things aren't open.
