Why do men in their 30s set their standards so low? You can still look great and be a combination of both. Just train your best, maximize your gain and be whatever bodyfat you feel comfortable at.

Small and lean in summer big and piffy in the winter.

It's really hard to get lean the older you get, but you're not that old yet. Cut down all the way and reassess.

Down quite a bit but hoping to be at an ideal weight by November.

I find it easiest to stay around 12-15%. It takes a lot of discipline for me to stay lean, I store fat easy. I'm almost 37 and have a family, I'm not about to let diet dictate my life at my current life stage.

I'm about 230 in that BF range and can maintain it by keeping a 85/15 ish ration of good/bad food + Training 4-5 times a week.

Being really lean is a great feeling, but it's harder for some people due to genetics. I'm not genetically blessed in that department.

Most women want lean and aesthetic and not a BloatLord. Maybe a BloatQueen or two want a BloatLord because that's all they can get for a serious relationship and they can shamelessly Boatmaxxx together. Big is out, lean is in. The 80s and 90s are over. Nobody respects a BloatLord or a BloatQueen.

35 here.......on bp meds, doc told me I have high cholesterol about 6 months ago.

I bulked through the winter, put on about 15 lbs....and I hate myself now. lol.... Its harder to get it off than the last time I did this (at 27)....but I just feel WAAAYYY better leaner. I also like having a social life, drinking a good beer on the weekends and not limiting myself to salad/grilled chicken all week. FUK

I need to be around 245-250

Currently cant get the scale to budge under 261....even upped cardio and started tracking cals again.

Its moreso about proprtions and how much muscle mass you have. I still got a lot of attention from women when I was like 17-19% bodyfat. If you have a good amount of muscle mass you will be fine being under 19% bodyfat

Lean is always better & women/employers/peers subconsciously gravitate towards lean men because being lean actually requires discipline

Being a fat lifter that «looks good in a shirt» is nothing but cope. Brb same fatcep selfie in great lighting on Snapchat every day.

Really depends on how your built. I'm 36 and I'm never doing any srs bulking again. Since I cut down I feel so much and don't have to ice my back and knees every time I lift anymore. I was 195 in my avi and I think that will be my winter level of leaness from here on out. I'm currently cutting for summer

how lean are you talking about? no need to go below 10% and put yourself through misery unless you are competing or its work related (influencer, G4P, etc)

Bolo from enter the dragon wasn't lean but as I said above, he has a good amount of mass so he can get away with a high bodyfat. If you DON'T have any muscle mass, that should be your priority, gaining. And then everything else will fall into place for the most part as long as you stay within the 10-20% range

Small and lean assuming you have some muscle is more impressive

Any fool can lift a few times a week and eat big macs all day and become big and puffy

Same for me. I'm 46 and maintain the same range without doing much. Lift 4x a week, 45min per.

Yeah cause anyone can be frank zane, literally one of the most aesthetic physiques of all time that dedicated his full time to bodybuilding and had one in a million genetics.

And if you think they are natty you are beyond saving, you're a degenerate.
