The typical nursing home exposure has resulted in large numbers of hospitalizations and deaths. The fact that most of the oldsters didn't develop symptoms or require a hospital stay shows effectiveness. Just ask Cuomo. It isn't realistic that any vaccine would be 100% effective.

The timing of this surge with the vaccinations is suspect. I do not think a correlation equates causation by any means, as it was implied by the OP when he posted the chart, but it is very odd. Things were well on their way downward, correlating directly to their novel treatment, too. A strange situation and I find your explanation as spurious as the implication that vaccines might have caused the spike.

I will say, while I don't buy any of this hook line and sinker, I think it's strange the second they start rolling out these vaccines, they change the way in which they test to determine if people have it (which they've recently done to make it much harder determine if someone has it; or much less loosey-goosey as it was previously). That may have as much to do with weird coincidence or Biden's America looking better than anything, who knows.

If you're anti-vax, why do you even bother trusting anything a drug company or scientific organization says assuming it has ANY ties to the government at all?

The FDA claims certain food additives are safe... do you deny ALL their claims?

And in the meantime, enjoy not returning to any semblance of normal life, or contracting COVID which we already know has long-term potential issues even in healthy people:

- lung scarring
- nerve damage
- vascular issues
- cognitive impacts
- heart and cardiovascular damage
- sensory issues such as balance and taste/smell changes

Not to mention, even AFTER you get COVID, you can get it again.

So instead of getting antibodies to defend against infection, you're choosing to either:

1. Live like a hermit or not be able to travel or do things normally
2. Try to live a 'normal' life but risk an infection with COVID that could actually cause all the issues above.

From where I sit, given the above issues come as a result of viral replication (something a vaccine like this CANNOT cause) i'll take my chances and go with what the science says for now and actually live something closer a normal life again.
