Nothing in there suggests the vaccine isn’t effective as stated or that it isn’t safe by common vaccine standards

I’m more than willing to discuss real data and evidence, I just don’t see the point in pointless insults or comments that have nothing to do with the subject matter.

I totally understand if people don’t feel comfortable taking it because it’s a novel technology, they feel uneasy about long term effects, or they just don’t trust big pharma... that I get.

But the ongoing hyperbole about ‘shedding’ spike proteins, micro-chipping , hiding deadly reactions, or linking to polarized political commentary just serves no purpose.

If there is a reputable source showing evidence for these claims I am ALL for it... I care if I’m doing something harmful to myself, but I’m not seeing anything reliable.

But some people who otherwise make very logical posts in other topics have gone full retard here. Making posts that with even a shred of common sense would not be made.

I think some people have been brainwashed so hard on this topic they will just shut down and start insulting or coming up with illogical arguments before admitting they were wrong, otherwise they would have to confront the reality that they have been brainwashed. One is easier than the other.

It’s definitely been a divisive year... it’s sad to see we cannot sustain adult conversations on the topic.

I wasn’t thrilled about getting the vaccine either, which I’ve already mentioned, but everyone makes their choice and will live with it.

The way I see it: most likely scenario is I will be fine if I get Covid OR if I get the vaccine. But at least with the vaccine, I’m hopefully more protected from having to deal with it. If not, then I’m no worse off I guess...

I decided to get it because I know people IRL that are "like me" who get weeks of horrible fatigue so bad they could barely get out of bed. And were so miserable you'd wanted to suck start a pistol, but can't even do that because of how tired you are. But hey, they didn't die so what's the problem?

Some other people IRL I know don't want to get it because they don't think they are at risk. But they are very overweight and heavy smokers.

And I think there's people on the other side, the "paniccels" too. That exaggerate the virus "100% of people who died of covid, died of covid. You gonna die if you don't stay locked down in your bunker forever". IMO these people are just like the anti-vaxers, just on the opposite spectrum

I get the fatigue thing I really do and I've known people that got it that have felt like absolute dog chit for like 7-14 days but are completely back to normal now.

How is that different that the Flu? Im not talking about a bad cold, but the legit Flu. I've had the flu where I literally thought I was going to die too lol. I'd go to either my primary care doctor or Urgent Care because it just wouldn't go away. Horrible fever, insane fatigue, chills, crazy headache, can't sleep, can't do anything....but you eventually get over it.

People tend to forget how fuked up the flu can be. We had 80K deaths in the US alone in 2018 and hospitals + Urgent Care centers were overwhelmed. It was by far the worst flu season in decades.

The whole shutting down the country over it will go down as one of the biggest mistakes of the 21st century.
