Why do so many people have a negative mentality on life?

See it on the misc and internet a lot...

So much defeatist, glass half empty, thinking.

There are people being successful at life while missing a limb yet these people give up because of one bad circumstance or a bad attribute they might have.

The internet has the largest collection of anti-social losers. And on it they have a platform to voice their thoughts/opinions.

Looking at my own social circle:
-By 28-30 every guy owns his own home.
-Drives a truck worth at least 40K or more.
-Doesn't complain about 40h a week. And most scoop up extra over-time when they can.
-Either married or in a LTR. When they are single, no issues meeting/dating/banging females.
-Almost everybody has a motorcycle, boat, or ATV. And/or a combination or all of them.
-Majority are into lifting.
-Majority are into hunting and/or fishing.

If your only association is with miscers. Its a bunch of FA guys that can't talk to women and have no real masculine hobbies/interests. No wonder they repel women.

Lack of sex, lack of exercise, sh*t diet, xenoestrogens in water, glued to screen all day, porn and caffeine addicted, wage slaving all week, often times excessive alcohol consumption, hookup culture with no family unit.

It’s no surprise most people are miserable

I think it's natural to a large degree.

If we were in the woods, it's safer to assume every noise you hear is a hungry grizzly bear instead of the wind. I think we're mostly evolved to be negative, but it takes a lot of drive, ambition, and intelligence to look beyond the negative.

Life isn't for everyone.

Ironically people who have actually been through some **** tend to be more productive and have a more positive outlook.

My wife survived cancer last year so every day is a blessing.

Because life is hard and you don't choose to be born. It's easier to put someone down and be negative than it is to lift someone else up.

Think about it, what is success? Is it material wealth, relationships, freedom, happiness, being loved?

If someone can lose a limb and lead a good life, like you say, then they are probably strong people. You can buy all sorts of nice things and still be miserable, and you can also just be born into wealth and privilege. Having a good life means you have to be a good man, and that's a challenge because the world is absolutely fuarked.

It's because people aren't satisfied with certain aspects of their lives. I probably was a bit negative some years ago when I wasn't where I wanted to be career wise and let if fester into my personality

Same probably goes for alot of people who have settled

Gilded Cage environment.

Would rather be in the 1860s - 1890s when governments were giving out free land, Buffalo roamed, Whiskey was cheap, whores were in every saloon. Could also buy guns, drugs and mail order brides through the mail back then too.

I generally don't have a negative outlook though I often feel quite depressed. There's a variety of factors to it. Things like exercising, discipline, working hard, are easy enough to perform. For me, the hard part typically concerns a lack of real relationships with other people, and a lack of drive or ambition to achieve lots of money or materialistic things.

Feelings can come and go. A few weeks ago I felt significantly worse, now I'm a bit better. The primary 'negative' aspect is the lack of aspiration, aside from exercise goals that I have and a strong desire to have a small, tight-knit community of family and friends. The exercise I keep working on, the latter is a more uncertain thing which often saddens me.

I would say being uncertain of yourself or not having a bright future are both pretty solid reasons to be negative I think most people would rather make an excuse then take on the ultimate burden of responsibility SRS.

Most of my family is negative as fuk. No matter what I did I was met with negative responses. Grew up, moved out, realized that life is so much better when nobody puts a negative spin on everything.

- work a trade
- stay off your phone/social media every day
- eat right
-lift heavy
- have some hobbies/friends/your own family. Something to make you happy every day, and watch your outlook turn from negative to positive
