I took it to prevent spread to myself and others.

Dying is an extremely remote outcome, but making others at least sick for a long period would be very likely.

And what is the risk in spreading it to others? Aside from the typical flu-like symptoms that come with every season?

If you are going to claim long-term effects, I’m afraid that argument is going to work. Covid-19 has only been around for slightly longer than the vaccine. Long-term effects really aren’t known for either one if you are being honest.

Nice edit. Again long term effects are not known for either one

You must have not read the findings of long term cardiovascular, neurological, and respiratory damage resulting from Covid. I suggest looking them up, I posted it a while ago in here.

And again, giving or getting flu-like symptoms for 2+ weeks sounds miserable to me, compared to MAYBE a day of feeling tired etc from the vaccines.

I feel like you’re completely ignoring what my actual motivation for getting it is, but I also feel like you’re implying I think everyone should get it.

I never said that.

I got the vaccine for several reasons I have been over many times already:

- if I want to return to my normal activities, exposure to covid is highly likely
- due to its transmissibility, I will likely get it if I return to those activities.
- even if I don’t die, I may feel horrible for weeks, and I may spread it to other people on top of that

If I get the vaccine, from the way I see it, the only differences are:
- I probably won’t actually get Covid or any virus of any kind
- the flu like symptoms, if I get them at all, will be much shorter
- I’ll get a high degree of protection once I resume my normal activities

I feel much better going to concerts, gyms, friends houses, family reunions, on planes, knowing I have some degree of added protection (potentially VERY high) and without the need to infect myself with a virus that could damage my body terribly even if I didn’t die from it.

I’m not sensationalizing anything.

I don’t think Covid is a heart attack and I don’t think the vaccine is a gift from God... they both aren’t things I want to have or get, but like I said I will probably get Covid if I try to resume the lifestyle I had before everything started, but at least with the vaccine I won’t need to worry like I might otherwise about having the virus infect me or other people

Death numbers SHOULD be going up at this time, with a 78 year average life expectancy and considering the world wide crash and then the huge boom in the 40's. The demographics alone would have given us higher deaths this year with an expectation of it rising over the next three or four years based solely on the fact that those born at the height of the post-war boom (1946-1952) are now reaching the statistical probability of death.

We would see a natural jump right now if only due to this fact of demographics. If this is fraud they timed it perfectly to obfuscate this demographic reality. An excess mortality rate assumes there is excess mortality and doesn't prove it, and again, the data is put together by the same people with vested interests in proving a Covid 19 epidemic...we know the faultness of the PCR test. We know that it is not a viral test, but rather a bacteria test.

Again, long term effects are not know, Covid19 has only been around slightly longer than the vaccine...& if we are going off past history, Antigenic shift (mutation) is a common normal biological function. Even though Cronavirus are considered more stable in this regard than flu/virus, nevertheless inevitably will occur within large population infection spread. This is precisely why vaccines have little to no chance of effectiveness for Corona type viruses. History has proven this true over and over. Corna vaccines are notoriously problematic ( mostly due to rapid weakening) and have never been successful.

As far as it being safer, I’m afraid that is becoming more & more evident this is simply not true.

Does it upset you that more & more doctors are speaking out against this vaccine. As far as the rest of your conjecture, I’ll repeat, when funding and pay structure is stacked against academia science in favor of paradigm consensus, it creates an unfair, inaccurate and corrupt narrative.

Keep trying, maybe one day you’ll post something intelligent

I’m gonna repeat this a fourth time, because I don’t think you are grasping it. When funding and pay structure is stacked against academia science in favor of paradigm consensus, it creates an unfair, inaccurate and corrupt narrative.

I’ll ask you this, how many pharmaceutical reps do you know, ask them how honest & moral the majority of doctors are.

I’m just using your own logic.

You’re saying that we should trust doctors but only if they fit your narrative.

The doctors ‘speaking out’ are on your side.

Despite the greater scientific community NOT being on your side, you’re choosing to believe the minority.

That’s your own choice, but again, if you’re going to appeal to authority then you’ll have to concede you can’t say to trust doctors but ONLY IF they’re the doctors you like without being hypocritical.

Plenty of people have just as much incentive to LIE to stir up controversy and get attention as other do to go along with the status quo.

I’m arguing common sense. Taking an experimental gene Thearpy injection that has shown to have overwhelmingly side effects & deaths, in fact so much so that if that if we take all vaccines combined for this year, the mRNA vaccine has found to be the most adverse/deadly. Verses relying on T-cells within our own body, & now Vitamin D that has shown to be just as, if not more effective than the vaccine. I’ll repeat, viruses are fought and defeated primarily by the T-Cell lymphocytes within our immune systems, Not from natural or artificially implanted antibodies

Show me the actual data on:

- this is a ‘gene therapy’
- this is defined as ‘experimental’
- ‘OVERWHELMING’ side effects and death
- Vitamin D being somehow just as if not as effective as preventing Covid infection

You’re not even describing how the mRNA vaccine works... it doesn’t ‘implant antibodies’...

The whole reason people get any side effect from the vaccine itself is OUR OWN IMMUNE SYSTEM... that response IS natural... it’s just triggered using mRNA instead of an entire, active virus.

The horrible symptoms people can get from COVID are a combination of 1) that same immune system response and 2) the actual virus replicating in our cells.

I fail to see how ONLY getting #1 and not dealing with #2 isn’t better than getting full on COVID.

You repeatedly just say stuff without providing the data or the numbers to back them up... so many people here on the anti-vaccine end are posting Twitter images and silly collages of pictures from who-knows-where instead of actually providing a study which concludes what they’re saying.

Seriously, where is the study showing vitamin D is superior? Where is the study showing the vaccine side effects are ‘overwhelming’ and that it’s more deadly than COVID? Please, show me those studies.

The mrna mimics the spike protein in covid and will spread throughout the body, particularly in reproductive organs. So when you're exposed to the virus again, your body will attack anything that looks like the spike protein.

SARS-CoV-2 mRNA vaccines contain a bit of mRNA suspended in a lipid capsule. These enter your cells, and then, your ribosomes take the mRNA and manufacture copies of SARS-CoV-2's Spike protein. This Spike protein acts as an antigen, training the immune system to detect it and form antibodies against it, like a typical vaccine, however, as described above, these free-floating Spike proteins will also compromise the BBB.

Wrong

The mRNA is very unstable and is excreted after being in your system for a short period, it’s not even an entire spike protein, it’s a mimic of a portion of a spike protein.

Look it up.

It doesn’t stick around, which is one of the reasons they took precautions in temperature for storage because it doesn’t last long at temperatures close to room temperature

No it is not excreted. If this was true such a adverse effects would not be taking place..which this 30 page thread is evident of.

JFC, let’s see the state of people’s health in 6 months, there is a reason the study I posted, which you continue to ignore proves your narrative wrong.

uhhhh, wut?

If you're talking about this:https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7645850/

Then how are you reading that and somehow getting that the mRNA stays in your body? That link/study has nothing to do with that topic at all.

Here, I even found a nice cartoon video to dumb it down for you:

> mRNA tells your cells how to make the protein
> Your body sees the protein, makes antibodies
> The antibodies flag which proteins to destroy
> Immune system destroys/removes the proteins & mRNA is removed/destroyed
> B cells stay in your body to produce antibodies in the future if it sees a spike protein (from actual coronavirus)

so... im not sure where these mystery 'free floating proteins' are coming from in your theory...

Btw, enjoying the less hostile conversation bw Paul and Adam. Both are very passionate and pretty sharp guys. I'm a couple drinks into this though and I'm a lightweight as I almost never partake, so that could be it.

Hard seltzer, fruity, zero carb. Hanging with my friends on Discord/Roll20, my Saturday ritual. Not sure why I'm drinking, I almost never do
