Brand fatigue is when your audience has heard/seen so much from you that they actually ignore your advertisements (which is bad). In fact, even if they do see/hear the advertisements, they've already cut you off and your message is useless. On top of that, your money is just being thrown away too

the machines are hard to clean "as in takes a brain" and it takes a while, people who work at McD's are too dumb as fuk and lazy.
same people who put take over the check engine light and then get mad when the car dies.

Heres the actual cliffs
-Taylor ice cream products is a vendor for mcdonalds as well as chic-fil-a, in and out, wendys etc yet mcdonalds machines are always 15% down nationwide while the other businesses machines are always running
-Taylor and Mcdonalds have an exclusive franchise agreement since 2003 that Mcdonalds franchise owners can only use one certain machine
-The machine is a piece of chit. Really buggy software that only gets updated to include more error codes. In the franchise agreement only taylor technicians can be contracted to fix the machine
-Taylor technicians are billed at like $1,500 for two hours
-Taylor was going to be acquired by another company and in their earnings reports they make 25% of their revenue from parts/service per year (lmfao)
-Mcdonalds Franchise owners are basically forced to fix the machines and they cant go anywhere else
-Hackerman looks through the software code and builds a third party app/device so franchise owners can debug their machines without the need for Taylor and its well received by franchise owners
-At a Mcdonalds franchise owner conference the head of franchise owners greenlights the third party app/device
-Shortly after the conference Mcdonalds corporate releases an email stating that the device is dangerous and will void the warranty on the machine
-Journalist reaches out to Mcdonalds as to how its dangerous and gets back a boilerplate email stating that Mcdonalds is developing their own proprietary device for debugging the machine through a third party vendor
-Third party vendor is a software company thats owned by the same company that was wanting to acquire Taylor
-The third party software doesnt do what the hackermans software does and basically points back to calling a Taylor tech.
So basically you have an almost 20 year old icecream machine model with funky buttons that has an exclusive monopoly deal between Mcdonalds franchise owners thats brining the company 25% of their revenue yearly. There was also an ad for Taylor ice cream products and they dont even talk about their business or product but instead about how they have a huge network of service techs lmao. So theres your cliffs. Theres some collusion between Taylor/Mcdonalds execs to fuk over franchise owners to make a ton of cash.

So yeah I don't blame franchise owners for just basically writing off those machines.

Actually was really interesting - thanks OP.
Cliffs:
-Everyone uses Taylor ice cream machines. Burger King, Wendys, McDonalds etc etc.
-McDs use a specific model that has a chitty hard to understand interface
-Needs to be heated to 50 deg everyday then cooled to icecream again
-Often fails during the process - tylor made it really hard and relly easy to fail
-Errors all need Taylor to fix them at $140+ for first 30 min, then $315 for every 15 minutes after......Frnachisees pay not corporate McDs...
-15% failure rate is why it always seems theyre out of order.
-Other guys (Burger King, Wendys) dont have anywhere near this rate....
-Guy invents a Device to plug into and give Franchisees an app for their phone and cut out all the errors..Franchisees love it.... MCds tells everyone not to use it or else...
..Cliffs of Cliffs: MCDs dont care about their franchisees. Taylor makes 25% of their $325 mill profit on thee repairs....
Also - theres an real-time map of all McDs stores with broken ice cream machines..

The company that makes the machine makes more in constant repairs than actually selling machines LMFAO.
