stick with it. I can't offer anything other than that. I think it took me three days to get used to it but now I don't even like to take naps on the couch so I bought a second machine to keep in the living room just for that.

I had/have it pretty good.

I went to a doctor, they hooked up a little machine to me (rather showed me how), I took it home, put it on -- it measured how I was sleeping and the level of apnea. I was able to determine that when I sleep on my back, I am terrible. If I sleep on my right side, almost none, sleep on my left also very little.

So now I make a more concerted effort to side sleep. Pretty easy solution, tbh. No masks or fukery hooked up to my face all night, tend to sleep better.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

I just bit the bullet and went with the CPAP, wouldn't trade it for anything now.

If your apnea is bad enough you will get enough benefit that you will decide to get used to it. For me it feels weird now falling asleep without it.

I wash my cushion regularly but it still causes redness and inflammation on the parts touching my face. Not ideal

Never tried a cpap. Had the UP3 surgery with hyoid extension instead. AHI went from 19 to 6 to 2.

Depends on if yours is Central or Obstructive sleep apnea.

Yes and there are several different mask styles if you dont like the one they pick.

Also get the CPAP strap covers to keep the red marks off your face. I bought some and i never get them now.

One more important thing i noticed was my hair started to thin where it went over my head, so i ordered a silk cap to wear under it and it helped quite a bit from rubbing

How do you go about making yourself sleep on your side if you're asleep? I just move around while sleeping and have no control over that chit.

Stick with it. It took me 3-4 days to get used to the machine at first. Now I maybe have one day a month where it's uncomfortable. But my energy is so much higher during the day, and I generally feel much better.

I like mine so much I have been increasing the pressure over the years. I've been casually looking for a machine that will go higher as I am close to maxing my out
