This pandemic things getting a little old.

We're higher case counts than before Christmas and still climing, thinking tomorrow we might be some Ontario-level shutdowns. Never would have guessed our worst time in it would be 14 months later in summer weather.

Depends I guess. Some areas are up and down, mine is way up.

Cases are double the peak we saw in December, our vaccines are 2 months behind yours so no real sign of slowing down either.

And 14 months later we're still moving backwards, so you can imagine how much patience people are having with any kind of restrictions.

I can imagine. And then factor in places in the US that have just said fukk it, and are having similar/less problems than locked down states.

No chit. At a certain point, we just have to live with the risk. I remember when my gym in NY said "yeah were gonna open up back april 15"....fast forward to august and they hadnt opened up yet. My theory is after a year or so the localities and states are hemorrhaging money, and are like oh crap.

We gave our first presentation for a contract selection today in about 14 months. It was the loosest most relaxed environment i have ever seen with something like that. Everyone just happy to be back face to face I think.

They just "allowed" people to sit at bars again here in VA. Really weird to be doing, but everyone just seems so much more relaxed and happy to be there.

Well it's official. Going to California with a flower in my hair. New adventure begins in September. I'm renting out my house here. Already got a list of people that want to rent it out. I'm looking at it as a really extended vacation and gonna try to make the most of my short time there. Could be there for 2-3- years. Gonna be 45 minutes north of Sacramento.

Leaning towards coming back to the panhandle for retirement when the time comes.

I never wanted any lockdowns. I can not recall a single government ever in any part of history where citizens gave up power and the government gave it back ASAP.

Did people seriously believe “15 days to flatten the curve”? First clue I knew this was nothing more than political ****ery was then kept pounding the “new cases” in our heads and not the deaths.

Now you got the Canadian cucks literally arresting everyone they can whenever they can. Thank God we have the 1A here so that kinda stopped some of the religion over reach.

Agreed. Never in history have we locked down healthy people and forced people inside. As someone who manages/leads people for a living, my ******** feed was fascinating to read on a daily basis. My theory is this is all thanks to people hating trump/24 hours news networks/social media. No one can make a mistake and everything is wrong. And it's CONSTANT. I'd recommend listening to Andy Stumpf's latest podcast with mike glover. He talks about the media and reminding people theyre here to make money and sell razors just like everyone else. And fear/panic sells and gets ratings.

Hopefully, this has shocked people enough that they dont just run with things. But...
