personally i agree with the video. arnold was pure muscle. no water, fat. etc etc. the video tells and shows his measurements at his best and also one of hogan taping his and it came out at 24.

what say you?

They mostly likely used a doctored tape measure to measure Hogan arms. There is no chance his arms would measure that, the only possible way you could even put up an argument that his arms could hit 24 inches is at his very biggest with a serious bicep and tricep pump. Even then its unlikely. To put it in perspective Ronnie Coleman had 24 inch arms, Dennis Wolf had 22s, Jay Cutler had 21s, Markus Ruhl had 24s off season, Arnold’s were 22s with great peak.

Hogan may have been holding more fat and water but that is not enough to make his arms measure that much bigger than Arnold’s, Hogans arms did not have good peak either.

But Hogan had more general size / bodyweight. Arnold at his peak was 6'2", and those other guys you listed were between 5'8" - 5'11".

Hogan was 6'6" at his peak, weighing over 300 pounds. Arnold at his peak was around 240-260 pounds.

Hogan's biceps might have been bigger because Hogan, overall, was bigger.

I know what you are saying, I don’t know how long Hogans arms were though. But honestly no matter how you look at it I just don’t see how Hogan could have had 24 inch arms, I don’t doubt his arms were the same size as Arnold’s but a full two inches bigger I don’t believe. At his biggest I think his arms were about 22 inches cold flexed.

Arnold had crazy peaks on his biceps, but people seriously underestimate Hogan’s triceps. Actually, I think Hogan’s massive triceps create an optical illusion making his biceps less impressive. I would t be surprised if Hogan’s arms were bigger than Arnie’s, but I would be surprised if they were ever actually 24”..

Didn't Hogan say his arms were actually 22inches during the WWE-celltech trial in 1994?

With Hogan being significantly taller than Arnold (hard to tell since both are heright frauders, I'd guess 6'1 vs 6'5) and less lean, I'd guess Arnold with 19inches and Hogan with 22 inches seem believable.

Ronnie Coleman’s arms were measured at 23.5 and he wasn’t even shredded for that. Yeah it was the tail end of his career but still.

Shredding is going to make them smaller. They might look better, maybe even look bigger with a better peak, but they'll be smaller.

Oh and to the reply above: Hogan was surely juiced to the gills his entire career, WCW as well, although he probably was off the dbol bus and doing different cocktails by then to get ripped up and more aesthetic (and a lot smaller)

No I understand that, I still don’t think his arms were 24 inches. Also we don’t know how long Hogans arms were or how long Arnold’s were. I am 5’7 and change yet my wingspan is 74 inches, I have a friend who a little taller than me yet has a 67 inch wingspan. My Uncle who is 5’10 has about a 72 inch wingspan. Yes on average a taller person is going to have longer arms but that isn’t always the case. Shoulder width is another thing that contributes to someone’s wingspan also. Two people can have the same length arms yet one measures a longer wingspan do to shoulder width. Even if we assume Hogans arms and Arnold’s arms are average for their respective heights, I don’t see Hogan measuring over 22 inches.

Point is this:

Say you had pics of Arnold and Hogan, then you shrink down Hogan's pic to where he's Arnold's size..

People will say those two guys are the same measurements, then you realize one is 5" taller than the other, and Arnold sized arms would look weird on Hogan's body and vice versa.

The length of their arms is somewhat irrelevant compared to stature, and muscle bellies.
