Do you put food on a girl's plate???

This only goes to dudes that actually date someone or have been on dates before, incels stay out..

I'm dating a girl right now that seems to think that a guy needs to serve her. For example we got out and sides are sharable, she wants me to fork that stuff on her plate.
Went over to my parents house, they had catering for dinner, she expects me to put whatever on her plate while she sits there all pretty....

Went to a wedding and she was criticizing this other guy because his girl had to pour water In her glass, he didn't do it for her and it's unacceptable...

What the fuk am I missing here.?
I was not raised this way and everyone grabbed whatever they wanted from the table

That's what I feel like. She was raised this way, she told her mom about it her mom's response was, how else would it have been done.

I would hate being served. I’ve been to banquets when your served and find if rather annoying

Then again my ex expected dinner served to him in front of his video games, Laptop or tv every night. It had to be cut up and measured out and cooked to his macros. He liked it. So each to their own

She's selfish, and shallow. She doesn't care if your parents think she's a good fit for you, she cares if they think she's pretty. If you guys are at home, it's nothing wrong with making your girl a plate. If you're out and she can't feed herself, or can't make your plate at a family function she's basically saying she doesn't give a crap about you. You break up with this girl I guarantee her next man will be one of two things. A. A complete pushover. or B. If I'm making dinner, I'll serve it on the plate in appropriate portions and leave the remaining food on the table. She can take more if she wants.

If I'm out to a formal dinner and there's water/wine on the table, I will fill her glass first and then mine. If there is food on the table to share, I will put it on her plate. This is in a formal setting where she shouldn't have to get up and reach over the table while dressed formally.

If it's a regular date, she can serve herself.

Don't forget, you're the man and your classical role is protector and provider. So act like it.

Honesty, I do that when out to restaurants when I’m with a girl, but it’s never been demanded of me.

I just do it in a polite way. As in I take the serving spoon and offer to serve it. The girl is usually appreciative.

But I’ve never got aggressive with it lol. If she took that spoon and started serving her own mashed potatoes, I wouldn’t lunge over the table to take over lol. Just be polite.

It should actually be the opposite when at home/ family dinner. She should serve for you in the instance. She’s the home maker.
