kurt cobain (nirvana) delusionally thought he was ugly

He talked about how ugly he thought he was all of the time. I remember one day he looked in a mirror and almost shed a few tears because he was so uncomfortable in his own skin. This photo was one of the only ones he’s ever liked of himself. He told me he liked it because he thought he looked good. Kurt rarely looked at a photo of himself and felt he was attractive. he kept that photo in his wallet for a while, I think. He was proud of it.“

He was mentally ill which was part of his brilliance as a songwriter and lyricist.

He was a disturbed person and he fell down in a hole and couldn't find a way to climb back out.

I think he felt ugly because he couldn't surpass these feelings and resorted to drug use which increased his self loathing.
I have sampled every language and French is my favorite to curse in.

Grunge sucked. I think Nirvana was a trend band if anything. The sound isn’t appealing at all. It was just a “cool” thing to listen to or follow.

Not true at all. Songs are how stories were told and remembered before writing. Singing is genetically grafted into our dna. That's why you can remember songs from when you were five even though you won't remember much else.

Pretty sure at this point Courtney had him taken out. He was going to divorce her and she didn't want that. If you go back and look at some of their earlier a stuff, his lyrics were actually kind of funny. Don't think he was as disturbed as people think.
