Only place that still requires a mask around here is Costco and I'm not going to renew my membership.

Found my bull for next year. Prob around a 340 this year with a 20" G4. If he's the bull I'm thinking, he's WIDE.

Hnng - Going I80 is mountain country. So, Truckee? Or is that too far? There is some really pretty country up there. Fish and camp all summer, then ski/snowboard all winter. Not far from Tahoe or Reno. Didn't realize there was a base up there actually.

So the schools are shut again.

The plan is to close them for 2 more weeks, apparently this will stop the spike.

Its the funny truth nobody is talking about yet, staying open had an unforseen benefit. The US infection rates were triple ours and way earlier when comparing similar demographics, but it means everyone caught the JV version of this thing.

We're about 3 months behind you guys in the 'wave' pool. By the time the third one hit you your immunization/natural immunity was high enough it was a blip.

Now we have these D1 mutant strains coming for our pink virgin lungs.

My neighbor across the street caught the variant that is spreading locally here, healthy 40yo runner and he was flat on his back for 20 days.

Made a major goof yesterday. It was my wedding anniversary. Had flowers delivered with a card that said happy 17th anniversary and a few other things. Sent wife a long email in the early hours of the morning her time recalling our wedding 17 years ago today, etc.

She texted me last night as I was almost asleep and said "What's 21-5?"

I replied "16. Why?"

Laid back down, closed my eyes, then opened them wide.

texted back "I am a complete idiot"

We were married in 2005...

They missed the one year anniversary of 2 weeks to flatten the curve a month ago though. They are kinda late.

Well. I just have flunked math or something cause I’m confused.

It’s the year 2021.

You were married in 2005.

So we drop both thousands and hundreds cause of double redundancy.

So 21-05 which is what you wrote. Implying you were married for 16 years.

My head hurts

Well on a positive note my back is feeling better and I managed to keep my cals in check while I couldn't work out so I actually still lost some weight on my cut. Down about 10 lbs from avi weight which is what I had been maintaining for about 18 months

I feel like I've lost some size but I can comfortably get into the 3rd world squat position and hold it for a couple mins now. Things like mobility are starting to get more important to me than max lifts now that I'm a geezer

Storytime.

We live in a community outside the city. Basically the edge of our neighborhood then hundreds of miles of woods and farmland, so lots of prairie wildlife.

I was walking the paved perimeter path last night with my dog (offleash) right after dark and he started signalling hard to pay attention to the field. We came up a little rise and I could see him watching a little pack of coyotes about 80-90 yards across the field. Zero surprise where we live and they don't get very big, mostly mangey looking foxes.

As we came up on some bushes just off the path another small juvenile one jumped out about 15 yards ahead and my dog flipped. He galloped after him as it ran back towards its pack, trampled it, then grabbed and swung it by the neck helicopter style and slammed it against the ground.

Then he chased it into the field and snarled/barked chased off the little pack of them. Happened in about 15 seconds and set off every dog in the neighborhood.

Then he comes back beside me tail wagging and sniffing puppy piss stains like nothing happened.

Hes a 110lb lab/husky mix, this is him and Mr Kitty his nap cuddle toy.

No, but the wider wheels/tires are stickier than the last (340). Depending on the pavement it can still light them up through third.
