The Assignment (1997)

Aidan Quinn
Donald Sutherland
Ben Kingsley

It has all what the film like "Without Remorse" lacks.

I have just watched it and enjoyed it. In every aspect, actions, pace and twists, a straight forward great boomer film.

Is there any miscer who watched it and is still alive?

--------------

***Aidan Quinnis my all time favorite actor, especially his role asCaptain Thomas Gregsonin the tv show "Elementary" (2012-2019), a modern take on the cases of Sherlock Holmes.

Hey, thanks for a positive res!!

Aidan Quinn always shows honesty, self-confidence and integrity.

And most of all, he and me, were born in the same year, 1959.

BTW, your avi, very impressive, one of the best ones here!!

Take care and good luck! *bow*

Thanks Samraiwise.
Going to put it on the watchlist.

Also - have you seen The Jackal starring Bruce Willis - also made in 1997?

Of course, I watched it years ago however I think not many people remember youngJack Blackwas also in that movie.

Also I watched "The Day of the Jackal" (1973).

I'm a big fan of Frederick Forsyth.

I thank you for a positive res and your wonderful recommendation.

Im an older miscer - so my tastes are back in the 90's
Im finding my self looking back to find gems of movies that I didnt watch back then!

Love the movies back then that had a solid plot , great action and just stuck to a story.
I think Directors/Producers were lucky back then in that they didnt have to stress over politically correct story and cast. #woke
