I got her pregnant

She left her husband for me. I had already separated from my wife but we agreed to amicable divorce. After she left her husband we lived together for 3 months. We had sex a few weeks into living together. She got pregnant, she's currently 8 weeks and wants an abortion. I want to keep it. She says her reasons are strictly her parents disappointment. I told her that isn't good enough and she said she's suicidal as a result of the pregnancy and the accompanying disappointment from her family/community since she isn't even divorced yet

What have I done?

And, what do I do? protect my child by calling her parents? at least then the abortion will be for reasons other than her parents feelings. do I cut and run?

we decided to separate and we're suppose to talk tonight about the details

Unfortunately, we were together 24/7 for like 3 months. Same work schedule, carpooling, everything. It's def mine.

OP your problems all stem from your weak ass pull out game. Be better.

As far as what to do now you really have no recourse. If you want her to keep the baby your only option is talking her into it. If I were you I might threaten to tell her parents but not actually do it. You could tell her that you'll take the child and she can sign her rights away but I'm not sure that'll work as it seems like she's not opposed to raising a kid she just doesn't want people to find out she was slooting

I mean if she really doesnt want to keep it then I think you should work with her...shiyat shes the one that has to deal with being pregnant for 9 months.

You guys are divorced...is the kid going to be growing up with parents that are separated? Having a newborn isnt easy, especially if one of the parents didnt even want to go through with the pregnancy. Is she going to resent you and the kid for having her go through with it?
