Well in all seriousness, I genuinely dont think MS is panic buying lol, I think they've made an incredible purchase with Zenimax and all their subs.

Sony isnt gonna panic buy either, if anything Sony this gen seems to be more about cultivating partnerships, publishing and more annoyingly (trying to snatch up timed exclusivity deals with other companies) .... Quite a few of Sony's first party studios have grown into multiple teams so I'm hoping the output from their studios will come in faster compared to PS4 era. I wouldnt call that panic, that's more like growth from the success they've had since the latter half of ps3 with all its exclusives being massive hits.


As for the last part, the fact that Sony seems to be investing into multiplayer side of gaming shows that they're changing their stance on the type of games they had from PS4. All in all, it's a good time to be a gamer because MS finally has some decent studios that can makes games for them other than gears and halo and Sony is continuing to do what they do best, while having bigger teams.

How tf do Sony fans in this section get associated with irrational dick sucking? Like I seen a few posters insult the Ps5 thread? And it’s always the same 1-2 posters. Nintendo devs played rdr2, insomniac devs played wasteland 3 and had great things to say about it, sony congratulated nintendo on botw, phil spencer has called nintendo masters at their art..... but this whole subforum treats these companies like sports teams.

I'm fairly tribal about certain things, but being tribal about billion dollar gaming companies is pretty dumb.

I'd be willing to bet if you swapped certain developers from one big 3 console developer to another...... the fanboys would alter their opinion (positive or negative) on said developer. If sony published Ori or Forza Horizon, MS published Ratchet and clank, etc.

I always buy both systems but MS really ****ed up with their studios. Xbox One is the worst system I’ve ever had and my 360 did RROD

I dunno why they let Rare go to such ****. That was such a huge deal in the gaming world when they bought Rare. They could be pumping out awesome Banjo Kazooie and Perfect Dark games on the reg

I think they have done better with Rare, and their other devopers lately. It's been reported in the 360 days that they were forced to work on kinect sports and had no freedom. And now Microsoft gives devs much more control on what they want to work on. And Sea of Thieves has turned into a massive success for Rare

This new system has some good looking games. The Medium, Psychonauts, Gears, Fable, and Perfect Dark all interest me. I only played 3 games on my Xbone(Gears 4-5, Rise of Tomb Raider)

yea, they have and are continuing to improve. from the x1 days: wasteland 3, both Ori's, forza horizon series, sea of thieves, sunset overdrive are all good imo.

psychonauts 2 will be out very soon and seems like a good 3d platformer

the Medium had very mixed reviews (love it or hate it) but I have enjoyed it.

In most cases I prefer to pay for better quality.

I could pay $15 a month for unlimited use of the bus system, but I much rather travel in the vehicles I have purchased.
