Why not just invest like even 10 quid in these meme popular coins when they have just started?

You get like 600k coins for 10 quid, at the worst you lose 10 quid. At best if it becomes meme and hits even 20 cents, you basically made around 100k lol...

It is worth the risk

Even the most poor can invest 15 quid or more just for fun. The risk gain potential is way too good. Better than buying lottery tickets, especially knowing that crypto will pop off in the future anyways.

Uniswap fees. They range between $60-$120. So if you invest just $10 well now you got to pay $70-$130.

If anything these high uniswap fees is what probably causes people to dog in $1,000+ amounts despite being poor which in turn inflates ERC-20 token value by a lot.

Wrong. He would pay about $360k plus slippage on the asset and fees to convert back to usd. He would walk away with about $600k. Would be stuck in six figure hell and likely end up losing it all trying to get out because someone who invests in dog money is not very bright or financially savvy. This is assuming he pays the taxes on it. This is also assuming he actually makes sure to pay the taxes and the IRS doesnt audit him 4 years later and takes another 25% because of interest. The IRS likes to let stuff like this cook.

I am not using uniswap unless I'm doing at least a 5k transaction. Spending $160 in gas and losing like 10% to slippage is just not worth it at all. Would rather have all my money on the binance smart chain any day. I'm now deep into hour two pending of trying to sell an eth worth of Hoge on uniswap. Unbelievable.

well you made a transaction when gas was at 284 gwei. You should really only do it when its around 80-90. A uniswap transaction is also pretty light. Some of my compound, bancor and maker contracts are probably about $600 to interact with.

I was okay with the fee at the time because there was an opportunity to buy something else that has gone up 30% in the time it has taken for uniswap to do this transaction. Which is still pending, and what I was trying to sell went down like 5% so I assume I will be waiting forever until it can execute the contract at the stated price. So I'm just gonna assume that money is locked up for another 12 hours or so. These fees are just absurd whether they're $80 or $600. I think the best I saw in the past two months was like $45. I'm still not going to spend $80 for anything less than $5k either.

Vitalik Buterin was gifted $8 billion (US dollars) in meme tokens. He apparently gave them all away to charities if you believe that.

Maybe this is the end to meme tokens? If the meme tokens are still a thing in 3 weeks then I'll be shaking my head. They're ruining Crypto I swear.
