This is part of the reason I embraced PC. Used to be exclusive Sony console gamer but have gone PC master race and got a switch as well so get the best of both worlds. I will never understand why Sony let their US division just completely take over, would much prefer if the japan brahs get these *******s in check.

I think it's because Sony wants Playstation division to have the same sort of relationship that Microsoft has with Xbox division. Sending it off to America is just sort of sending that signal, like it's a big money maker but Sony of Japan doesn't want to be Playstation anymore.

Neither console really has Next gen exclusive games and its because of COVID pushing back development time and consoles. Better to release a more polished game to broader audience, otherwise it will lose hype/players. I fully expect in the Fall and forward for both consoles to start churning out exclusives. For the most part I'm playing GamePass games on my Series X and only bought THPS and the Mafia Collection in the last year or two. But once those exclusives come out, I'm still only paying for GamePass and won't have to shell out $70 for each new title. Rumors have it that Playstation is working on a "GamePass" like system to release exclusives. However this might cause a shortage in money for them and wonder how they'll cope. The big elephant in the room is Microsoft is worth an ungodly amount of money, and can just smash Playstation into submission by acquiring more studios. Curious to see how it all works out.

What pisses me off is Sony won't boost the FPS and resolution on any of their last gen games like Microsoft is doing.

Currently playing Bloodbourne. While it's a great game it fcking sucks having to endure 1080p 30FPS on a PS5 connected to a 75inch 4K 120Hz OLED. Somehow the 1080p actually looks like 480p, no idea why.

Meanwhile, Microsoft boosted 100 games, most muti-platforms to 60/120FPS + HDR. Many of them on Gamepass.

The least Sony could have done is boosted their popular last gen exclusives so us new to Playstation 5 can have fun while waiting for new games. Get your chit together, Sony.

I mean MS is killing Sony in backwards compatibility without a doubt but they have boosted the majority of their popular titles. Bloodborne is one of the few not to receive a PS5 upgrade.

I’m not a console war guy as I’ve owned them all. The Xbox series x is far superior than the PS5 right now in many ways. I was never a huge fan of their exclusives either. They have a cpl but most of them are copy paste of every other single player game.

Either the new edge coming to Xbox live reports are that stadia games will also be available on Xbox. Xbox Series X moggs PS5 with all the new combinations of signing with huge triple A creators along with game pass. I can also share my Xbox with my buddy so we take turns buying games, whatever either of us buy we both own from that. Not even mentioning the controller... Xbox controller is for men, when I did play my PS4 I used my elite 2 because the PS controller layout isn’t thought out well and feels like a toy. Also jfl at this news ‘haptic’ feature. I turn rumble in every game off so that’d only annoy me.

PS4 did mogg Xbox one out of the gate all the way until Xbox one X but this time around it’s the opposite.

My brother went PS5 and I went series X. He’s been very vocal about the mistake he made. The backwards compatibility, along with the many features that Xbox uses to make gaming faster and easily playable has him wanting to sell and go with the series x. He said hilts nothing but a headache.
