As per the above poster.

Ive gone from being a guy who would always view US/UK as Australias benchmark as to what society should be like, to now almost wishing that Russia/EEurope or China wins the next major conflict so that we get some sort of morality or non-degen society.
And this is from someone who loves military history and traditional family and societal morals.
Guess I was born 3 decades too late.
