Imagine carrying the corpse of your missiled child from the local beach, how totally embarrassing. Your family's access to clean water is denied? Total mogging bro. Some armchair general on a bodybuilding forum posting memes about your genocide? How could your reputation recover.

You've convinced me OP, slaughtering civilians and raising their homes is definitely not evil. Glad to be spending tax dollars on this heroic effort. Just can't fathom why someone would try to continue living in their homeland, total dank meme material my fellow average American.

The west and Israel would never allow that. It would be a second Iraq and maybe even potential world war with China and Russia getting involved.

Would be a big ****show. But doubt that will happen, other types of warfare these days...

That may be the case or not, But the world is looking at the American military and the gay pride flag in the same respect at the moment.

Sure war is a tragedy but there's nothing wrong with looking how each side is fighting unless you're a low t cuck with a hollier-than-thou attitude of course.

Always makes me laugh when I hear this. How many troops do we have in Europe & Asia at the present moment?

I’m far more concerned of my tax dollars being used to fight Russia because of Ukraine or Poland.

It's not hard to see which side is fighting with the support of the largest military power on Earth, and which side is literally throwing rocks. If you think that the mass murder of men, women, and children non-combatants is some permissible side effect of a totally justifiable war, then you might be under the influence of propaganda.

You don't need a holier-than-thou attitude to think that genocide is wrong. I think for that you just need to not be a sociopath. It's pretty easy to cross that line when you have mandatory service, religious motivations, and a modern ethnostate. There are Jews that are against this sort of thing as well.

If you consider that governments are generally corrupt, especially in their foreign policy, then imagine what that means for an ethnostate. It shouldn't be controversial to call a spade a spade. What's holier-than-thou is pretending this is some sort of balanced and noble conflict.

There is an inherent advantage to letting the Arabs keep trying to fight with Israel.

If the Arabs had any brains, they'd stop trying to punch above their weight then.

How many times do they need to get burned, and throw civilians in the way to rally sympathy? If the Arab powers are too weak, they need to use the pen, not their sword. They simply can't win a fight, so they need to stop picking it - it does nothing productive.

Nothing retarded about the truth. And the reason why many jews are in high positions is because of nepotism and a strong importance on education in their community. And yeah arabs are sh*t at fighting, we know that but don't think Israel would survive (long term) without western support.

Nothing noble about war of course but there's nothing wrong with looking at how each side is fighting, doesn't mean one is ok with people getting killed. And yes the palestinians are the under dog in this fight.

They are defending their homeland. There didn't have to be a conflict, things started heating up especially when business interests started exploiting the land and building exclusive infrastructure. Arabs civilians are actually getting killed in authorized attacks, it's not some secret ploy to garner sympathy. They just happen to live there, and they've lived there for a long time.

Ideas are crucial, but power grows from the barrel of a gun. The ideas are Bronze Age religions that are pretty set in stone. I don't think Palestine is some sacred crusader either, they have done terrible things as well in response. I don't have blind allegiance to one side or another. I'm just saying that it is genocidal colonization. In fact, this war of extermination has Biblical precedence in the idea of Herem.

If the conflict is rooted in fundamental divisions of faith, then that seems like the place where the solution can be found. All the religions involve share the same God and religious foundation. I don't take any joy from seeing innocent Israelis harmed, they deserve peace and life as well. They all have a claim to their ancestral and spiritual home, but this claim does not need to manifest as genocide.

Not just rocks, Hamas is firing rockets. From civilian locations. So either Israel does nothing and lets itself get attacked without response (which no one would ask of any other country) or retaliates. Hamas loves this, because every civilian death at the hands of a Jew is martyrdom and furthers their cause.

Let's also not forget the history. The Arab neighbors attacked Israel at literally the first opportunity in 1948, after British rule expired and Israel declared independence. And several times since then, one of them being the Yom Kippur War in 1973, when they attacked Israel on the holiest day in the Jewish calendar. They've ceaselessly worked to destroy Israel. How - again - is Israel the bad guy for defending itself?

Even if you don't agree with Israel's founding after WWII - the tried and true tradition of claiming and defending land through military battle has certainly validated their claim if nothing else.

This doesn't even address the contrast in Israeli democracy and Arab dictatorships and the valley of difference in how they see themselves and the world. Israel leads in innovation while the Arabs starve because their leaders are so hell-bent on their holy wars they do nothing to help their own people.

Genocide is bad, regardless of the parties involved. But this isn't as black and white as that. You write as if Israel is the aggressor and all the Arab neighbors are innocent bystanders who want peace.

Maybe war can be justified if you ask Saint Augustine. I just think that turning this conflict into a misc meme is pretty ****ed, but what should I care it's a bodybuilding forum. I can see the value in analyzing the details of the war, but I also don't think there has to be a conflict to begin with.

You mean the homeland that Arabs stole at one point too in their history? How comes Jews are open to a two-state solution but Muslims won't tolerate anything less than total destruction of the Nation of Israel? Hmmmmmm...

NOBODY here has the high moral ground - that's what I'm trying to say, but the morons who keep STARTING BULLCHIT need to stay in their lane currently. As it stands, they cannot compete militarily with Israel - so STOP trying to or more die.

Then again, they are all martyrs so hey, the retardation wins out. You have a backward stubborn culture who won't pull away from a clearly superior opponent. That is called SUICIDE.

Exactly, let's not forget the history. Even before the modern state of Israel, you had kibbutzim who lived in peace with the Arabs. This was before the conflict, and they lived together as equals. I don't see how democratic a religious ethnostate can be, but I recognize the claim of all religions involved to their spiritual homeland.

It's definitely not black and white, but you can't deny that there is imperialist aggression from the European settlers that arrived and sowed ambitious conflicts with the Arabs. The kibbutzim are still heroes and models, but they did not first arrive to amass fortunes and imperial power. The initial Aliyah's set a precedent that was betrayed for material ambition. It was privatization and material ambition that sowed the seeds of conflict.

It's like if I started building a house in your backyard, and I start to expand and tear down your house. You complain or try to defend yourself, and suddenly you are the aggressor and not just defending your home. The average Israeli just wants a secure existence like anyone else, but ambitious leaders were hungry to enrich and empower themselves with the backing of European powers.

To be honest, I am not Zionist or anti-Zionist. I am not pro-Palestine or anti-Palestine. The only thing I'm against is genocide, and I don't think it has to continue or even begin in the first place. I want peace for the Israelis and peace for the Palestinians, but I don't think it will come from corrupt politicians on either side. They have their own selfish ambitions in mind, and innocent people are paying for it with their lives.

Those arab muzzies who call themselves "palestinians" celebrated the murder of nearly 3000 Americans on 9/11. I harbor no goodwill whatsoever towards them. I'm neither pro-Israel nor anti-Israel and I think we should help the arab Christians who are persecuted all over the middle east, but I have ZERO f's to give about Israel grinding the arab muzzies who are shooting rockets at them into dust.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

PS - Don't fall for their propaganda. They fire the missiles from civilian neighborhoods because they want Israel to kill civilians as collateral damage, so their friends in the media can portray Israel as the bad guy. Israel does things I don't like, but in this case, Israel is fully justified in retaliating.

You complain or try to defend yourself, and suddenly you the aggressor and not just defending your home. The average Israeli just wants a secure existence like anyone else, but ambitious leaders were hungry to enrich and empower themselves with the backing of European powers.
The shadow of foreign influence has hung over the region longer than modern Israel has existed, surely. Beyond the geopolitical ambitions of the various parties, I think the holy/religious element to the conflict is the insurmountable obstacle to peace. When you think you have a God-given claim to something, you don't embrace compromise or reason, you just want it and feel it is yours by right. No one is going to back down from that.

As to the geopolitical aspects, I'd refer you to the map that has been posted a bunch in this thread - Arab peoples hold dominion over 98% of the region but are waging holy war over that last 2%. And they've tried - again and again - to take it by force. If by no other means, I think Israel has earned that strip of land with blood and grit, the old fashioned way.

A lot of you seem to think the US gets nothing from helping Israel. That is very false.

The best part is it is a live fire testing/training ground for US modern military equipment. The US doesn't have to actually get involved but has Israel testing/tuning/tweaking the newest/modern military tech all without having to risk american lives which politically would be a huge hit.

Israel has conquered the land. You can make whatever argument you want about who has a "right" to it. But Israel has it. They own it. Just like Russia took Crimea, just like the brits took north america, and just like US Settlers took it from the brits and natives. This will continue on as long as man exist.

Zionist propaganda?

Yeah. It’s not like America has a Muslim member of the house of reps who is constantly calling for the eradication of Israel and making destructive comments about USA on Twitter non stop.

Such propaganda

Historically speaking, the US had very little involvement in Israelis early conflicts in which they fought through overwhelming/impossible odds to beat numerous ME nations...

Six day war

In specific the US repeatedly rebuffed Israelis request for military and financial aid for the six day war.
