My cat just got diagnosed with diabetes. I’m supposed to give him two shots a day now lol.

My main fault was saying something. The jig is up.
Well, according to him, he dropped it off on a weekday around 6pm when the ladies are getting home and checking the mail, just left it there and it kept itself busy with the milk and treats. Barely lasted 20 minutes before getting picked up and taken.

My best friend of my entire life was a diabetic cat. He made it 10+ years after diagnosis. The basic insulin admin is VERY simple and affordable if you sign up for the lantus manufacturer discount programs.

If you're unable/unwilling to do the insulin thing consistently, I'd consider adopting him from you. The life expectancy is literally unlimited with consistent insulin admin, and almost surely extremely short without it.

Should have taken it to the county animal care center (aka The Pound).

Depending on how yours is run, they will fix an animal (provided they determine it can be adopted later), then put it up for adoption. I've known pet owners who couldn't afford hundreds or even thousands of dollars in pet bills, give up their pet at the center, then re-adopt it at $20-$60. *shrugs* All depends on the rules of the center. If it's terminal, they'll dispose of the pet.

It's better and cheaper than .22 to the back of the head. It may get adopted out, or at least given to a foster no-death home and let it be someone else's problem.

I’d love to shoot one first before dropping that money just because I know Glocks work well. If I asked KD4 to shoot his he probably would have let me but I felt like it would have been a douche move so I didn’t ask. I also don’t feel like waiting the 60-90 days and wanted to pay the $275 for fast tracking it.

But I’m def going to be putting some time in to red dots on pistols. I had a G45 with an RMR for a bit but I messed up and did the 6.5 MOA dot and it was too big.

The thing is, Holosun is making the best red dots right now and at a cheaper price. Can’t complain about not buying American when the American companies are putting out worse stuff for more money.

It’s all going closed emitters. So that’s ACRO or 509. The 509 blows the ACRO away. I guess the ACRO isn’t American but you get the point.

I’ve been through stuff like that. When the dog was a puppy at our first house he chewed through the cot damn cables for the air conditioner. Among ripping off pieces of the shed and other stuff.

Good to hear. Actually went to vet today and seems pretty easy to do. Wife just picked up the insulin. Hope it goes well, he is our only pet Atm
