Damn, you fukers are getting me hyped. Already have it installed, but won't get to play until later tonight. Have a really busy weekend scheduled so I won't get to play as much as I wanted to, but it's all good. I'll paly a couple hours a night unless I can squeeze more time in.

Haven't paid too much attention, but I'm guessing ME3 MP is out - as in, not included in the remaster? I had a blast with that, spent probably hundreds of hours in that thing.

Finished ME1 just now, did all the stuff I knew I'd have to carry over ... So a lot of side stuff I didnt bother doing unless they were important.



Just started the main meal of the entire franchise .... ME2 .... hooooly fukk, I forgot how much of a massive improvement this game was in gameplay compared to ME1. Legit jelly of the *******s who are gonna play this for the first time.

i pulled the trigger and im downloading it now, 93gigs cot damn

One question, is it worth doing the side quests etc? Like in the Witcher 3

Well it comes with over 40 expansion packs so yes worth checking out.

Just go at your own pace and explore everything

I played them all a few years back, but too bad i didnt wait a little bit longer for these. I recall Mass Effect being the best one. I think it had a better story and more character connection.

I played through the series probably ~7-8 years ago, but the reviews have been pretty good for this - I'll probably pick it up and replay as a renegade again once the price drops.

First timer also, currently 3-4 hours in. Honestly impressed at how well the voice acting has held up, was expecting it to be more like FFX level.

Already engrossed in the story, writing is great, gameplay is better than i expected. Graphics are so so but that doesn't bother me. Story + the RPG mechanics are carrying the game and i like that.

game pass is amazing. If you don't mind waiting, mass effect trilogy remastered will hit game pass since it's an EA game.

Wow...I just accidentally blew through the first game in a single day. Roughly 13 hours. I meant and wanted to do more side missions, but the story had me hooked and couldn't help but play though the main game.
Great writing, legitimately interesting story, great voice acting, shooting seems smooth enough to me. (Gear is boring as fk, but not a massive deal IMO since the game is really not centered around gear in the slightest IMO.)
Can't wait to start ME2 tomorrow. Damn, if 2 is the GOAT when the first was this good...I'm seriously looking forward to it.

Breh, trust me when I say your body is not ready for the greatness that is Mass Effect 2 .... DED SRS. You might as well stop right now because you're gonna feel empty as fuk after this game (in a good way). The jump in quality from ME1 to ME2 is mind boggling.


Yeah, ME1 is a lot shorter than I remember, the critical path is honestly what you really need to do, most of the sidequests (save for a few) are pretty much pointless. ME2 is longer and all the sidequests have far more depth.

Also dont forget to look through the codex, it's really informative and the narrator is great. Far better than codex's in most games and always go talk to everyone in your team/around the ship after every mission, most of the time they always have something new to say.












What kinda character are you guys playing?


I played ME1 as a Vanguard with Garrus and Wrex as my constant teammates.

ME2 I've started as an Engineer, but I plan on switching up my teammates.


Playing paragon all over again .... Although, ME is the one game where playing Renegade can be fun, you're the biggest ******* ever and Shepards male voice actor has the best deadpan delivery.

I am a weird case. Played 2 and 3, tried to play 1, couldn't get past it's kinda clunky gameplay / lack of direction. (Maps were repetitive and confusing, got stuck on some mission going in circles.)

So 1/3 of the way there. Pumped for all of you who haven't played any, 2 and 3 were some of the best games I've ever played. Shadow Broker DLC is fukkin' epic

Wow, immediately you can see how much better quality ME2 is. 1 was great for being a14year old game that was remastered. But damn, 2 is a HUGE leap already and I'm only a couple hours in.
