I feel the need to be around ppl (srs thread)
All my life up to last year I was always in school, interacting with other peeps. College was the best because I had interactions with co workers, class mates, teachers, my mind was always busy going out and doing cool stuff.
Ever since graduation last year its like it went 100% to 0% social interaction. At my job most people work from home so I only see the same 5 people, friends moved onto other cities or have families.
I rarely go out since the few friends I have are usually busy or don't feel like going out.
I think I might be depressed or something, this is not the life I was looking forward to after graduating. I see my older siblings rarely going out, doing the same routine stuff. Das not it mane.
Anyone else kinda relate?

-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.

You now have to make a real effort to socialize. If you don't have in person coworkers, you have to go and start conversations with strangers.
You can still have great friendships now, but it's gonna take way more work than it did before.
Don't do what other people are doing, go out and actually have fun brah. You're a miscer brah, act like it. Getting older =/= getting lame. You don't even have kids yet man!

Welcome to life kiddo.
How it works.
I'm an introvert who trained to be an extrovert for work stuff.
I have zero problem being alone all the time.
Get a dog. Dogs make good conversation starters at dog parks. You can talk to people with similar interests.
If you are into a sport - join a club.
If you are into an event like running - join an online group and go to 'fun runs.'
If you are into being a nerdy gamer - go join a discord, start a stream, make a YT and post your stuff. Nerds will flock around you.
The ability to be social is always there and other people are wanting/craving attention so they'll be all over you. Keep in mind - sometimes you get attention (especially for women) from people who are gross. Set your boundaries.

I really enjoy interacting and being around other people but every few days I need to just be completely alone and recharge my social batteries so to speak
