Just got draft Cal-OSHA regs. They passed an "Emergency Temporary Standard" last year. Of course, masks have been required at the workplace. Now, they want to strengthen it by only allowing N95 masks. And, I must make them available to all non-vaccinated individuals.
fking clown world here.

I got into a few with the neighbor after, I find when I drink I just don't recover until its right out of my system. My legs were still a little stiff last night on the elliptical.

And can confirm. At the gym i never tweak or hurt anything doing real exercise. It's always when im putting a plate up, dumbell back in rack, or walking somewhere.

So glad the school year is over. Only two more years to go and both mine will be in college. The moment I'm not beholden to a school district my ass is diggin in like an Alabama tick somewhere way out in the woods.

Not sure how true this is, but the message is on point.
The founder of *****, Sheikh Rashid, was asked about the future of his country and he replied, "My grandfather rode a camel, my father rode a camel, I ride a Mercedes, my son rides a Land Rover and my grandson is going to ride a Land Rover....but my great-grandson is going to have to ride a camel again."
Why is that , he was asked? And his reply was, "Hard times create strong men, strong men create easy times. Easy times create weak men, weak men create difficult times. Many will not understand it, but you have to raise warriors, not parasites."
And add to that the historical reality that all great empires....the Persians, Trojans, Egyptians, Greeks and the Romans and in later years, the British...all rose and perished within 240-year mark and the rot is starting to be visible and is accelerating. We are past the Mercedes and Land Rover Years...the camels are on the horizon.
Last November 45 million Americans voted for Biden and demonstrated either that they know nothing about history or they think we should all be riding camels.

All societies flame out and recycle...and its probably a good thing in the long run. Imagine one society being at the top indefinitely. Knowing how power corrupts its would be bad. People, as a whole, don't learn from their mistakes and there's nothing new under the sun.

The best part about having a kid grow up is the movies.
It opens up every PG13 action, sci-fi, and comedy from 20 years ago up for a serious 1st principles rewatch.
Jurassic Park, Matrix, Twister, Fifth Element, Contact, Armageddon, Fast Furious: Tokyo Drift, Gone in 60 Seconds. List just goes.
