Is anyone here concerned about the changes they made to the misc?

(only registered users can view the site, and new accounts are not eligible)


Seems like the misc (and R&P) is going to die soon

We push the envelope too much for a forum that belongs basically to a private equity conglomerate of companies that focuses on retail consumer sales and entertainment.

We provide almost nothing to them but potential liability.


Maybe slow changes they make can help us last just a little longer before the probable total demise.

Agreed, seems they weren't able to moderate the forum against lots of nasty trolling in the past few years.

And people forget this is a business that sells supplements, not just a "free website"

If the forum wasn't so old I wouldn't really care. Really sucks though, there's not really any other place on the internet like this

I think there's changes they can try before shutting down. Like reds and new accounts can't make threads and are severely throttled in posting

Are you sure new accounts can't see the misc, etc? If true then a one time banning of all the trolls/alts would get rid of most of the trash.

You're saying that, even in this thread, somebody who has never posted in Misc before will ever be allowed to post in this Forum now?
