Mystery Injuries

Was going to chime in on Linuxjon's thread aaaaaand...it is gone.

I have bruises, scrapes and random ouchie spots all the time that I don't remember getting. It's actually rare that I have a limb without any bruises or scrapes lately.

I had two very large bruises on my right leg below the knee that were easy to figure out- tripped over a curb, but in too much of a rush to really feel it at the time. There are a couple on my right bicep and I recall at least one of those happened around loading a truck.

This constellation on my left thigh is more odd than usual. Probably more than one incident or else surely I would remember what the heck happened.

I'm low iron, low Vit D, low Vit A, so might as well throw it on the pile. Don't seem to absorb iron well and I've got that genetic thing where you don't convert beta carotene to Vit A [or at least not very well].

There was a weird cold spot once when I was downstairs cleaning in the basement alone.

Momentarily had the thought of ghosts/cold spots flash through my awareness, but I just had too much to do to worry about any of that.

Thanks. I actually tried supplementing with one made from cod liver oil, but my labs didn't go up any. Not sure why. And I could swear I read something about needing to have sufficient vitamin A before you can fix your vitamin D.

Eat 2-3 oz lambs liver every day. Fry it with mushrooms or onions and it tastes OK.

Vitamin k is in aged cheeses, eggs and kefir

Drink fresh lemon juice and eat red meat as the vitamin c helps absorb iron

Get naked in the sun everyday (and send pics)

La. More likely to have something related to blood sugar/liver/stroke due to genetic history.

This thread got me to check out vitamin A deficiency again and I saw it is bad for your epithelial tissue and seems tangled up with liver disease in some way. My mom and her three sisters have/had non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, 3 confirmed w/diabetes, one w/possible small strokes and their mom [my grandma] had diabetes and lots of little strokes. Oh, and some gut problems too. The arteriosclerosis and gut issues both seem to be linked to a problem with the epithelium.

Getting lots of sun. Not much meat in my diet. Have considered trying the liver capsules.
