Relationships and the gym
Seems like women are always supportive of my alone time working out but the eventually get frustrated that I go to the gym pretty much every day... I have a routine, I get off work at 5 and then go to gym for an hour and a half and then go home and make dinner and have a nice relaxing evening with my girlfriend. Sometimes we travel on the weekends and I'll find a local gym and workout in the morning before she even gets into the shower. She's been cool with it but she's all stressed out about work and remodeling her house and is all of a sudden voicing concern about me going to the gym so often.... I always tell them early that I will accommodate our plans but I enjoy working out and it's my stress relief. Not working out isn't an option. I think she's stressed about other stuff and me going to the gym is low hanging fruit... Something she points out in frustration. I'm not worried about it but I've broken up with a few women who place an ultimatum on my workout routine. it's 90 minutes of the day and I'm home before 7. Doesn't seem like a big deal really.... I guess I could workout in the mornings but then she would complain that I'm waking her up to early to go to the gym. She likes my body and enjoys going to competitions with me, not sure what the fuss is about but hoping it will pass... Anybody else deal with this?

Sounds like she's stressing out and isn't feeling her best, and seeing you thriving is making her feel worse.
Sloots will always try to drag you down with them to feel better about themselves. Good on you for not budging on your routine

I do think she might be trying to get you to spend more quality time with her but doesn't exactly know how to voice it in a productive way. Either way, have a talk and see if this is stemming from some frustration towards another aspect of the relationship. I know I tend to lash out and nitpick on little things when **** isn't exactly going the way I needed it.

Been with my girl 5 years and she's never ONCE btched about me going to the gym. She knows it's a part of my daily routine like shower or dinner. In fact, it just motivates her to hit the gym even harder. My girl is doing 2 a days for the last 3 weeks to get on my level.
If it's only been 3 months you can still train her since she's learning what she can get away with. You're being tested. Give an inch they take a mile.

This is a classic power move in relationships, usually done by women who feel they don't have the same worth as you. Basically you need to not take any of this sh*t starting this instant. However if you like her, you should be mature and kind about it. But what's your goal anyways? Are you just trying to string her along and have fun on the weekends, or are you trying to start a family? Do your goals line up with hers? Point is, if she wants more and you aren't willing to offer then you're the one being a jerk. Her wanting you to go to the gym less could just be a microcosm of a bigger issue.

We get along well. It's a long distance relationship but she spends most of her time at my house since she can work from anywhere at the moment. She has a lot going on so I think working from a distance is something she is ok with, but I think it's difficult for her. Eventually she's mentioned I'd move in with her, she has a great career and lives right on Miami beach. It would be a massive change for me. I'm pretty established where I'm living with my career and investments... But girls like her don't come along often. It's only been 3 months and I mentioned I need more time before I make a life change and move across the country to live with her... I'm flying to Miami on Thursday and then she is flying here to spend another few weeks with me. So far so good, we have a great time together and it seems to be working well overall. I just don't want to change my gym routine. I think she will accept that and not take it personally. She does treat me well.

Its not like you started going to the gym after you met her. She just wants to spend the time with you, so it doesn't sound like its coming from a bad place. Just talk it out and explain and if it makes her feel better, you should offer she come with you. If she can't understand that, then it's more then just the gym she is worried about.

if she's already complaining about it 3 months in, just how bad do you think it'll be when your honeymoon period has cooled off? She clearly isn't about that life herself, and only supports it for you on the surface level if it's the first thing she villainizes when things are tough.

I tell guys all the time. If you go to the gym often then find yourself a woman who goes to the gym often. Dating someone who really doesn't work out never ends well. They will eventually complain about you going. ALWAYS.

don't give in to demands. Once you starting giving up your hobbies, it's OVER... the transformation into cucksband starts there.

Just communicate and tell her about the importance of your workout. I typically do strength at home and then do cardio at home or in the local streets/parks. These days it's 1 hour strength and 1 hour cardio.
From what I can tell she likes it when I workout, working up a sweat and getting that pump going and all that. That's not why I get stronger, but I definitely don't mind and she doesn't either.
Most problems in relationships can be solved by just being open and communicating sincerely. You don't want to spend years getting worked up like a powder keg and exploding over petty passive-aggressive nonsense, just be real and figure it out.
