Probably not a big deal once you live there and have the transponders, but its a PITA to pull over and pay every road.

Everything is just a bit trashier in Florida. Which actually results in having a lot more fun usually, but there are some downsides.

I kinda like the fact that you can be a rich 50 year old guy aggresively hitting on girls at the bar and it's not the slightest bit weird to anybody. In my city that would be seen as kinda weird unless you were more of a hipster and younger looking.

I moved from NYC to Florida a month ago now and I can definitely see why so many people like living here, but it's still not for me. I like having 4 distinct seasons, having a landscape that isn't totally flat, prefer dealing with snow to hurricanes, and like having a basement, so I see myself moving back when circumstances allow.

Probably somewhere upstate in NY instead, though; I can't go back to living around hoodlums and bums.

Yes it's called the sunshine state for the sun and heat but also the open records. I research potential dates before I meet them out. Also research people I meet. Lots of degenerates out there. Deadbeats, criminals, drunks, addicts, gamblers, multiple divorces, lawsuits, child support, evictions. It's a disgrace. It's amazing what you can find in the county court database.
