Are nobulls worth it?

The shoes? Like how long do they last? Are they narrow like chucks or wider like vans? How are the trainers for general lifting, do the soles provide enough support? Any other brands you found better?

My wife has a pair for some reason. To me, chucks still make more sense and are more stable.

I just wish they were wider. Been also looking at Rogue Do-Win’s as a lifting shoe. nobulls a friend swears by but to me they just look like expensive nikes I’m going to run holes threw the soles and don’t have enough sole/thick sole/stable

What is your foot strike like? You could just get an elevated heel running shoe.

Im guessing with where I have arthritis in my feet, Heel Strike? I had to google this.

These shoes would be mainly for lifting but it would be nice to not have to bring two sets of shoes to the gym. So a shoe for lifting and cardio. Running shoes soles are not hard enough for deadlift too much bounce

Full disclosure: I’ve had two pairs of their trainers, and currently have a pair of their Graphite Matryx Trail Runners (which I love as a daily shoe). I also have a couple of their hoodies that I really like.

Their trainers are overpriced, overhyped, and haven’t changed in over 5 years. I don’t feel they are worth it, and there are MUCH better trainers you can get for the money.

They have a decently wide toe box, but the soles are thin / soft and don’t provide any support for lifting or cushion for running. They are exceedingly comfortable as daily casual shoes tho.

The Nike Metcon 4 and 6 are my personal favorites (I’ve had them all 1-6). The Metcon 6 comes with the hyper lift inserts for squatting / oly lifting days if you prefer an elevated heel.

Nike Metcon React Turbo’s are what I wear more than anything else tho. Best all around shoe I’ve worn. The react sole doesn’t work with the hyper lift inserts, but I wear my Romaleo 3’s for squatting / oly days anyhow. So the lack of hyper lift compatibility doesn’t bug me.

Reebok Nano’s generally have a wider toe box than the Metcons. They are nice shoes (only get the even numbered versions).

dude I owe you massive reps on recharge. Gunna check out the shoes you suggested. Have you seen or heard of rouges do wins? I’ve been eyeing the metcons too, why only even number Reebok Nano’s?

I wish there were stores were you could try on actual lifting shoes. I’ll have to try that this weekend. I normal put holes in adidas though in 3-4 months

I've seen her routine, shes not a powerlifter. I did 160kg x 4 in my mizunos no problem.

It is my understanding that Rogue doesn’t make the Do Wins. They are their own brand.

They are a solid elevated heel shoe specific for only oly lifting. The solid elevated heel is horrible for deadlifts, and you can barely walk in them, let alone run in them at all. For a designated purpose oly lifting shoe I would 100% only get Nike Romaleo’s.

Reebok Nano 2/4/6/8/10 just always were their top shoes randomly when compared to their odd numbered versions. The Nano X (10) gets great reviews. If you can find a pair of Nano 6’s, they are revered as the best Reebok cross training shoe ever until the Nano X came out.

In reality tho, I would find the best deal you can on whatever color way you like on the Nike Metcon React Turbo, Metcon 6, Nano X.

you would prob be able to do more if you wore proper shoes and less chance of injury
