Not sure this qualifies as catfished, so much as just being lied to.

I'm not hip to all the modern dating jargon, but I've always imagined catfishing is getting something completely not what you were "fishing" for. e.g. - a girl pretending to be a guy; an ugly dude using a fake account with pics of some underwear model; etc.
