Brit miscers, do you think the lockdown ending 21st will be cancelled

I think it will. Media keeps hyping up variant crap all the time now, which is so dumb when we have so many people vaccinated, yet they want to keep this going and going. I have holiday booked at the end of June as well.

The worst part is so many people support lockdown STILL going on if you believe the polls.

Yup, although its not as bad, we still have restrictions. Full lifting was meant to happen on 21st but government scientists keep creating false hype of a 3rd wave so we are screwed.

Well if they get seriously ill (which isnt that likely anyway) its there fault for not getting vaccinated. Also first dose does much of the work.

At this rate they will keep this up until september which wouldnt even surprise me

There is little that can be realistically done. Protesting is a waste of time as they can be easily ignored. The gov passed bills a few months back curtailing protesting anyway. Brits dont get violent unless its against each other lol at that idea.

95% of the UK literally don't give a fuk about covid anymore or the so called 'varients' been packed everywhere since April with loads of people going out. Only the absolute spineless snowflakes would advocate another lockdown.

I don't see why we'd go back into a 4th lockdown considering we've had the largest vaccine roll out in Europe this year thanks to being free from the EU.

That being said I think there's a slight possibility we could go into lockdown during the winter months but unlikely IMO. Then again you never know since the government were an absolute shambles in handing the pandemic last year. Can't really trust anything Bojo says tbh.

It's almost lifted. Gyms, bars, restaurants and non essential shops are all open. Even limited capacity of fans are allowed back in football stadiums. Still have to wear a mask indoors though and on public transport but that's about it tbh.

From June 21st night clubs, festivals etc are meant to fully open with no limits on social gatherings.

Lockdowns are based (if your govt isn't overly insane) upon what hospital conditions are like. Are ICU's and hospitalizations rising? Are they vaccinated people?

Get off the internet and head to your local hospital. Talk to people there. You'll learn 1000x more than stupied FB posts.

We were supposed to open up back in April but the media kept hyping up the Indian variant. Here we are almost June and we won't fully open until August (inb4 just 2 more weeks after that)
