I remember the years leading up to covid there was this massive push against "anti-vaxxers" and how important vaccines are. Especially cucked sites like Reddit, seemingly every time I browsed the front page there was always a thread about vaccines, how dumb anti-vaxxers are, or something of the like.

It felt like pre 2017-2018 no one really talked about vaccines, there was no such thing as an "anti-vaxxer" and people didn't think much about them.



Here's a good example, Jan 2019 Golden Globes. I remember seeing this "skit" pre covid and thinking wtf is this chit. Predictive programming at it's finest, they were gearing us up for the main event come 2020 and half the population fell for it.

Now that I think of it you're right. It was usually stories about some mom/dad that didn't want their kid to be vaxxed with pure outrage from other parents.

Yep. Stories like that were crept into the public consciousness through media via shaming tactics and labelling people who didn't accept the vaccine narrative as an "anti-vaxxer". So by the time the covid vaccine was being rolled out people already subconsciously knew that being againstanyvaccine was bad. They were primed and ready to accept any form of vaccine that the government forced on them in fear of being socially shamed.
It's not like I compiled a list of threads or news stories about vaccines over the course of the last 3-4 years.

Making fun of Anti-vaxers was widespread for many years because most of them are legitimately crazy. People that are skeptical of a brand new, largely untested and potentially dangerous vaccine are another story. But that's besides the point.
