I remember gaming back in the day, it was ruthless, the environment was uncensored... and gamers loved it. There was a bit of a rep on the internet and gamers just do their thing, and no one is to mess with that.

Over time the gaming culture became a bunch of soft *******s.

I think a lot of it has to do with a lot of gamers now being incentivized by money, rather than gaming for the pure joy of it.

You have those people on twitch that stream games, and they're getting paid a lot of money, and in order to not upset anyone, and continue getting paid, they have to act a certain way.

And so they start spouting xyz and their viewers see it... now everyone is on the look out for 'toxic'... "That's so toxic". I honestly think that phrase itself what is actually toxic. It's toxic to constantly find things in people that you can point at and call toxic... it's not love for ya fellow man, it's hatred and tyranny... trying to mold them into something they want them to be

Played it and enjoyed it.
I heard Ellie was confirmed gay waaay before TLOU 2 which i'm coo with, especially since Ellie's slicing and dicing up foos the entire game. She does badass ****, that just happens to like pussy.

They have to push the leftist agenda via things like characters, imagery and storylines etc because gaming is in itself the antithesis of left wing.

You’re more likely to get the prize (winning/completing the game) if you’re smart, coordinated and/or spend the time to develop yourself into a superior player. There’s no affirmative action or welfare to help you win the game if you’re crap. There’s no excuses. You can’t blame your lack of success in the game on oppression or whatever.
