I've also found COVID has basically turned a lot of failed personal trainers into "life coaches". I know three personally, all of whom couldn't make it as independent trainers but now are supposedly "mentoring" people as a personal coach. But just like when they were training people, they each have maybe 2-4 clients who are all flakes themselves.

If you're good at connecting with flaky people, you can definitely make it.

yeah people with pensions either in gov or some company that still had pensions can retire, collect the pension but go work for some contractor and come back doing related work, sometimes they dont want to do the exact same thing and want a more relaxing less stressful job in old age, so act as full time consultants but the company or gov still wants them around for their knowledge. Or they only want to work part time. So either way to get the pension or part time they cant work for the original employer.

Just had another one pop up on my Instagram. This girl owned a gym that wasn't all that successful, closed it down due to COVID and disappeared off the grid for six months. Now that she's "found herself" she's offering sessions on how to be a successful entrepreneur. Marketing to CEO's and people like that.

Meanwhile, her own business just FAILED. You really can't make this stuff up.

Protip: To coach people on things like success, you should actually be successful yourself at something.

It's mostly a hodgepodge of New Age Western philosophy and Eastern Religions (mainly Buddhism).

People want a sense of community and connectedness as well as a sense of purpose and these life coaches facilitate that for them.

It's a pathetic and useless Female "career option" just below HR in terms of how worthless and unproductive it is. When somebody tells me they work as HR or life coach I just cringe, pa

Why do these unskilled women feel like they're above working in sanitation, like it's degrading or something? I respect the cleaning ladies x100> than a 20 something y.o. clueless HR ''specialist'' sloot.

I find that "executive assistant" can go in one of two directions. There's one that's basically a glorified receptionist of some sort. The other type can literally be the backbone of an organization and the company doesn't even work correctly when they are away from the office. I worked with the latter type before, and she made around 6 figures. Sometimes at the end of the day you'd look at everything she had to get done in a particular day and be amazed at how she pulled it off. As a side note I actually started my career life working under her as a low level admin person as an entry level cuck. She was the biggest bish I ever worked for but my god was she good at her job. So I couldn't even be mad at her.

You guys have no idea.

In the UK a doctor can prescribe you a social prescriber.

Basically a life coach on prescription. Varies from helping you open up your mail to helping you with your groceries, dependant on how much of a inadequate human being you are.

Im not even joking. Very SRS.

these are usually for people with genuine mental health issues , drug and alcohol addictions or isolated older people ... better to encourage someone to take regular exercise and go to a gym or start a sport than to fill them with more pills

I'm sure there are some legitimate life coaches out there, people with social work/psychology degrees doing a more flexible type of counseling.

But yes, I've seen some of the people you're talking about. It's pure cringe.

Per the above comment about saying it's not only women that's definitely true.

You do have some men that attract men who are former addicts whether drug or alcohol addiction and they cling to male life coaches to bring some sense of normalcy back in their lives.
