Would you be able to forgive a man for killing your child?
This is a few years old, but got me thinking.
“Father Of Murdered Pizza Delivery Driver Forgives Killer“
Being a person of faith is one thing, but hugging the person that killed your child is something else. He was stabbed to death while delivering pizza.
Everyone involved suffered. I think the sadness and regret from the killer was real. What a mess. I think there are some depths of faith and forgiveness I’ll never reach tbh.

I don't forgive people for anything. So no. I'd spend my life trying to trap the killer and then torture them for decades.

I hope I never am put in that situation. However, I imagine if I believe there is true remorse and heartfelt sorrow, then I believe I may be able to forgive but I would not be able to forget. I am not certain, though. Hard question to answer.

I hate the word sorry , it’s fuking meaningless. You’ll be sorry when you face actual consequences though

No. Unless they feel enough remorse that they off themselves. If they kill themselves I'll consider it. Still probably wouldn't though.

Nope. They'd spend the rest of their lives in prison getting notifications that their loved ones were murdered

Maybe if the person was having a heart attack while driving and accidentally crashed into my son. Really don't think there are any other instances where I would ever think about forgiving someone for that. Especially not outright intentional murder.
