About to make a large investment.

Shoukd i go with betamax or vhs?

Betamax is smaller, more compact, I dont see this vhs stuff going anywherr.

I had a mini disc recorder "walkman" was super expensive when I bought it I ended up using it 3 times.

oddly enough i very rarely saw a betamax tape at a video store or those huge DISK movies. was always vhs. and im going back to say 1981. that was the first time i seen a video rental store.. we didnt get our first VCR till 1984/1985.


can still remember the first 2 movies my brother and i picked out to rent. james bonds moonraker and dirty harry

betamax is before my time I am younger than you bucko I didn't even realize they were that old when I looked them up but there are people posting here that probably never used these.

Time traveler? Betamax is the superior technology and is more compact but VHS has the better marketing plan and will eventually get exclusive access to consumers through rental facilities. Always bet on the go to market plan with unique channel access.
