Wonder about this sometime for boyos that post face pics all the time

Has anyone ever bumped into you at sunday brunch and been like "Sword_! you mirin brah? Can confirm, I am house"

etc

How does that interaction go?

Is is awkward or surprisingly a normal conversation?

What if it was a coworker....or a close friend you didnt know was a miscer (or a lurker).

If I saw a recognizable miscer on the street I'd be pretty awkward going up and being like "Hey boyo, its climberbrah from the Misc (pronounced miss), loved your thread last night..."

Yes. But it wasn’t from the Misc, it was from the powerlifting section.

I went to a powerlifting gym across town from me for a couple of years back in 2012. The first time I showed up there, a guy walked up to me and said “aren’t you Black_Spit?”

I’m still friends with that guy today.

I know a few miscers. They don't know I know them. I worked with a few of them. One particular cat didn't misc too much. He was more in the sports/r&p section.

Yeah I actually saw sword_ once at a grocery store in Austin a while back. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person after seeing him post on the misc for so long, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for reps or anything.

He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”

I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Quest Bars in a Louis Vuitton bumbag that he had around his chest, without paying.

The pawg at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

How has some one like reallifealpha not been recognized in the gym before

he's extremely recognizable on the misc

based on his physique photos guy probably spend 8 hrs a day in the gym

more likely to find aware miscers at the gym

same for bolobrah

how are they not getting stopped routinely while lifting? am I overstating the popularity of the misc?
