Commander David Fravor on Joe Rogan at 40:00 looking at the Gimbal video and apparently not even realizing what Infrared footage is [at 40:19 specifically]. This is a rather 2-bit mistake if you think about it, the footage clearly switches from White-hot IR to Black-hot IR, and here Fravor is saying it's in.......TV mode? Lol. Right there on the top of the screen: IR at top, BLK at bottom. Then he goes on about an "aura" around the object- literally a common artifact on IR arising from either heat signature or image sharpening. And yet here is Fravor, describing these videos suspiciously in the same vein as the sensationalist media coverage: not a hint of critical analysis, while demonstrating a perplexing lack of understanding of what the videos are even showing. He makes comments earlier in the Rogan interview about the Nimitz FLIR video, and later about the Go Fast video- same thing, jumping to incorrect conclusions when the information is right there on the screen. Imagine believing anything that comes from someone's mouth without questioning it just because they are in the military [smh].

Note Fravor's comments at 49:00. Admits to playing games in the sky near campers just to fool them about UFOs. Yea this guy has no attachment to UFOs or has any incentive to embellish stories about them. How could he ever.

Regardless, first hand testimony is a terrible form of evidence, I dont care how "trained" or untrained someone is. If someone claimed he saw a second sun pop out from behind the sun for like 30 seconds, it's a pretty worthless form of evidence......note this doesnt change if it's a brilliant astronomer/astrophysicist saying it, it's still worthless from the perspective of science. This is a rather basic mistake too, to not even recognize what IR footage is. Next gen technology? It's essentially the same FLIR camera used in the 2004 Nimitz video around the time of Fravor and his magical story- the type of info on the screen isnt changed: IR vs TV mode on top for example. Knowing whether footage is shot in IR isnt some kind of amazing new tech lol- it's basic info right there on the screen. The main point here is "trained" military personnel.......can easily be wrong- even on basic matters actually. Im giving you time stamps of concrete examples associated with a "trained" military commander making errors, since you seem to think they are some kind of perfect observers and bastions of wisdom (Lol).

None of this matters anyway since personally witnessed stories make for pretty worthless evidence, regardless of who is sayng it. Fravor is wrong. Actually comically wrong, about something so basic as to whether footage is IR or in visible light. His analysis of the videos throughout is riddled with mistakes. That's all that needs said.

Imagine going on about technology evolving in 10 years in whatever gymnastics you are attempting (it's......the same......info.....on the screen.....as....in.....the.....2004 video). How can one explain this any simpler? smh.

I clearly said he understands the technology while providing evidence, and proposed that he mispoke/misdescribed the video of the encounter that occurred 8 years after he retired which was displayed on a computer screen 10 feet away from him during which he was distracted by a talk show host in front of thousands of viewers, specifically in the moment where he accidentally misidentifies the black dot and white background (Black Hot IR Mode) with a slightly zoomed in black dot with white background (TV Mode).

One of which is that if a trained military commander can make such a blatant mistake in observing something as trivial as a screen in front of him in an interview (and its not like he is being shown this video for the first time- he's clearly familiar with it), imagine maintaining he must be some kind of perfect observer for vague, unidentified objects in the the sky. (And it's not just the IR/TV mode error Im referring to, he is going on about auras, making naive mistakes regarding movements in the 2004 Nimitz/Go Fast videos , etc). It's frankly bad analysis, and is the same rather naive sensationalist nonsense you see in the media coverage. Nothing much to see here. He is not providing evidence, unclear what that means: he did not take any of the videos in question, he is merely commenting on them. His "evidence" is essentially a story that was not filmed.

Why do I have to admit it's a strange state of affairs when the videos need not be showing anything extraordinary? Because of Fravor's story? Even if this story is not made up (he does admit to faking UFO sightings near campers himself in the Rogan interview), he could have thought he saw something and was mistaken. Who knows what happened there- humans are notoriously poor observers, with other flaws (yes, military pilots are not exempt from this). Whatever the case, it's a story not good evidence for something as extraordinary as physics defying alien ufos.

I'll wait for actual, better evidence in order to believe aliens traveled the stars to play games in the sky (almost always captured in grainy low-res footage), thanks. What we have here isnt cutting it. I know this is upsetting you, as you clearly want to beliiieevvvveee..... ok, whatever, not my issue.
