Not sure what to play now, hoping misc can help me decide:

- go back and do a full tales of beseria run. (rushed the story first time through).
- full ff12 tza
- ff8 remaster
- KH 1/2 replay (bought that big kh123 bundle on special).

Wish we had some really good rpgs coming out. Probably need to get a switch at some point but the price is quite high.
I really like FF8. Has the best mini game of any FF (or jrpg) imo with triple triad.

Play it, great game and a classic.

Just beat Detroit: Become Human

Really a great narrative driven game. They weren't exaggerating when they said that your choices will have a big effect on the narrative of your character and on other characters as well.

I got an ending which the world stats say only 5% of players got and it was only possible because of a very hard choice I made with another character.

And mindblown at how they were able to capture the likeness of the actors so well into the game.

So happy I got this game, worth every cent.

Surprised to learn that it's an indie AA title. It's definitely up there with the AAA ones.

Beat the Mass Effect remaster. I beat the originals once before. 10/10 would recommend to rpg fans. Decided to fire up another Bloodborne run and try to platinum it since all I ever do is all boss speed runs. Had one of my best ever shadows of yharnam fights. Cleared out the main game except for Ebrietas and the final boss. Now just doing chalices until I get the final weapon and boss for their trophies.

I tried replaying kh 1 and 2, couldn’t finish it. They didn’t age well. I did play Birth By Sleep and had a blast with it except for one bullchit minigame. I’d play that or Berseria again. Some of the optional boss fights that you probably missed are great.

If you enjoyed Detroit, don't sleep on Beyond Two Souls and Until Dawn. Similar play-style, and Until Dawn isn't that scary - its more of a "who dunnit" mystery than a horror story.

I recently "won" big-time with my attempt at getting a new graphics card. Was signed up for a discord group that pushes updates on my phone of drops at Best Buy. I ended up snagging a 3090 card, so I built a new pc last week around it (with two m2 drives in raid 0, 4600 speed ram, and a 5950x ryzen that's slightly overclocked). Only problem is I'm knee-deep in Ghost of Tsushima on my ps5, so I'm still spending most of my time with that.

Once I'm done with GoT, I'm going to jump head first into some competitive pc games (apex, LoL, etc) as well as mod the heck out of cyberpunk. (FYI, cyberpunk has a huge pc modding community, with a lot of the skyrim modders migrating over to it).

Beyond Two Souls looks interesting so I added to wishlist, and as proven in Detroit Become Human, Quantic Dream is a great dev. Imma pass on Until Dawn because the screenshots look scary and im chicken chit when it comes to horror lol.

das it mane, GoT got me addicted af, I already miss it. Can't wait to see how the PC port would look and how the modders will play with it when it comes out.

Just finished Call of the Sea and it was awesome, got stumped a few times but the game was really good.

Frothing mystery/puzzle games right now and gonna jump on another once I finish Hellblade.
Has anybody played The Sinking City? love the Lovecraft vibe but I can't tell if it's a decent game or not from videos.

Also getting through the Battlefield 1 campaign. Holy **** the AI is stupid and the game kind of sucks, but it's like playing through a mega-budget action-packed war film.

How many hours did it take you to get through?

Never actually played it. Just curious based on the ~10-12 hours game time it takes me to finish a story on the first playthrough.

Beat Biomutant and I think I did 99% of the game -- so many side quests.

Game isn't worth 60 dollars maybe 20-30 so wait for a sale if you want this game.

They did a massive patch to fix huge errors everywhere.

The story makes little sense. Combat isn't fluid. Game is pretty. You can get the best items very early which allows you to cheese the game and turn everything into paper shreds.

If the devs actually work on this for a year or two of patching with all the bugs I can find in 1 play through (and even with a giant patch I am still finding bugs commonly) it might be a "good" game but right now it is a mediocre game. They really got to fix the story. Totally bizarre.

25 hours. I explore a lot though even though its not an open world and I check every corner for possible hidden extra stuff

I read all the magazines I can find too, they're pretty interesting and it'll get you to really feel the world setting.

I doubt it can be finished in 10-12 hours though even if you ignore the extra little things.

Finally starting the Uncharted series. Got all 4 downloaded and ready to go. Only in the second chapter I believe. Right now thw only gripe I have is how many fukking enemies seems to come at you in droves. Where the **** are they all coming from? Why are so many dudes after one guy? Do I have a tracker up my ass? I read that the first is the worst, so I'm gonna play through and enjoy, but goddamn there are too many enemies.

Uncharted are some of my favourite games. Story line is fantastic even though the play can be quite repetitive.

Been enjoying Days Gone.

Looking for a good tactical/realistic shooter with some cover/stealth mechanics. Preferably single player. Miss the old Rainbow 6 Vegas games.

Yea its frustrating. Uncharted is overrated IMO, just gets really repetitive and the waves of enemies are annoying. The new tomb raider trilogy is better

Lmfaoooo UC1 is so bad in that sense. 2 and 3 is a bit more managable and the level design is better as well, but they still suffer from the waves of mobs just coming at you .... Personally I'd put UC1 at explorer level difficulty and just blast through the game to get the story serious ... 2 onwards you can go on normal.

Just Cause 4 is more fun than I thought. It is good to wingsuit boost from place to place, then land and blow enemy bases to hell with your rocket launcher. There are some annoying 'timed bases' activities which take a few runs, but overall the missions and base takeovers run smoothly.

Not too sure if I'll pursue all the stunt jumps and wingsuit stunts...some just look horrible. Just really playing for the combat/action and exploration.

mane AMD is winning a lot of good faith from gamers. their fidelityfx will also support 10series cards from nvidia.

I'd probably switch to AMD next time I upgrade my cpu and mobo

Edit: for the 10 series, it's only for this particular game, Godfall.

Started a second playthrough of Valhalla as a sort of definitive playthrough knowing what I know now. With the PS5 version of FF7R coming out in a few days though, I need to finally get the platinum for that. Always planned on it for ps4 but never went back to it after beating it the first time.

Man.. last time I gamed was about 3 years ago? Crypto currency miners effed up the graphics card market. I’m never going to spend more than $500 on top of the line or close to top of the line GPU. And now the ****tiest cards are $500 while all the top cards are $1000-1500.

I never thought I’d go from a personally built desktop computer (gaming/graphic design/coding) to laptops.

I don’t think I’ll ever build another rig again. Rather put that money into something for ROI.

I used to play MOH back in the day . I really believe I was in the top .01 percent , as I was a one man killing machine .
I had fairly good latency at this one server (80 ms) , and was playing my favourite map Southern France , with 15 other players .
It was the most insane game I ever played , and won 3 games straight .
I had to work my ass off , but have never played in such a chaotic atmosphere.

One guy messages me and asks if I noticed it was fairly hard , then proceeds to tell me that there’s 15 guys all in the same Gaming cafe in Seattle Washington trying to gang up on me all at once .
It was epic lol

Then I got into Call of Duty , only to get an ass whooping . But I didn’t really know the maps very well .
I had a ton of fun playing Call of Duty off line though.
Unfortunately I started doing renovations way back then and never got around to rebuilding my computer room .
I plan on getting it going sone day again , and look forward to the innovations that have happened since .

Here’s a pic of my old room .

Then I started playing with multi monitors when I temporarily moved my desk downstairs.

I’m a huge fan of corner desks, and I plan on building one .
I haven’t seen anyone build a desk with a computer mother board that raises out of the desk via linear actuator , so I’m hoping it’s a first

The double cherry top level in world 3 of super Mario 3D world is one of the most fun levels. I’m on world 4. The puzzles in each world getting more unique, the play forming is getting more challenging. But it’s up there with galaxy as goat. Imo as I enjoyed galaxy that year. Super Mario galaxy was overall game of the year that year.

Ps3cels and xbox360cels hated that award going to a Nintendo exclusive lolol!!!!!!!!
