Hispanics are placed in the white Hispanic category, while white Americans are placed in the white non Hispanic category. This is nothing new. Whenever you research into detail on demographics it will show you two categories the white non Hispanic population and the white Hispanic population Technically they are separated.

Usually yeah but I'm not seeing that on this website when you go into the separate state pages.

Like for Maine, it's:

White: 94.31%
Two or more races: 2.23%
Black or African American: 1.38%
Asian: 1.13%
Native American: 0.65%
Other race: 0.27%
Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander: 0.03%

Not really I live in an area thats like 65% Hispanic 20%, white, 15% black for the most part everything is normal here. on a couple occasions in the past I visited the more ghetto areas that were like 90% black when I would deliver food was never robbed, but I would get people staring at me. Countless crackheads were always roaming around aswell. Definitely would not want to live there
