Don't worry guys, we will get to a bear market and it will make this look like childs play. Right now this looks like somewhere in the middle of 2017. Where the overall trajectory was up but it was full of frustrating FUD-filled downturns
There was a 5-6 week down/sideways market in the summer of 2017.

Then, the infamous 19,500 - 20k BTC that wasn't broken until December of 2020.

History doesn't always repeat, but it does rhyme.

Just some objective analysis.

Broke out then came right back up to rekt everyone. It happened under different macro circumstances though - i doubt it will repeat.. But i won't be buying any dips if it breaks below 30k.

Completely natural dumps. Average 90k volume before on 5 min then jumps up to 1.8 mil the next 2. Clearly retail all decided to dump their BTC within the same minute span after BTC went down all day

Seems like I was rite. It is beginning lol. I think we gone to 30k maybe 29k

Could be a fake out tho and the real dump happens between 24-48 hours since that’s when it happened last time shorts was up. It seems a bit early compared to last time

I find it extremely hard to believe that they were clever enough to hack the pipeline, but dumb enough to keep their passphrase on a server in the US. Telling me these dudes didn't have a Ledger, and have the passphrase written on paper to be immediately disposed of after washing the BTC through XMR?

I am a conspiracy theorist though, maybe the story is 100% true and they are that dumb. :-p

ETH perp is already having the highest volume on FTX, and FTX spot volume difference between eth and BTC isn't that much. The eth-btc pair recovering so fast after that dump is amazing.

Still don’t think this is a bear market. In June 2017 it went from 3000 to 1700 over about a month. After that it pushed its ATH again in about a month. We’ve been in sideways for a few weeks. Even the stock market has been sideways for over a month after ATH in April that hasn’t been broken yet. The ATH is getting pretty close to being broken now though. Bear market will probably be determined by any tax law changes and other political chit. Biden actually got cucked though since one Dem refuses to abolish the filibuster so he can’t pass any radical laws. They’re actually working on global minimum corporate tax laws which pumped tech stocks up. Crypto market is just being manipulated with big dumps to keep it low and fear is at its highest since March 2020 Corona dump. Other meme chit stocks are tanking the market as well. Once those get rugged then we can probably see some gains
