budget?

For <$400 I got this small setup. It's more than overkill for a gym. Very happy with my purchase.

I've got three JBL Bluetooth speakers placed on small shelves near the ceiling of my finished basement. One of them is the JBL Charge 4 on the center wall, which is then flanked by a pair of JBL Flip 4 speakers on the other walls. They can all play in sync together and the Flip 4s are convenient for taking on day trips and stuffing into a backpack.

I bought a chinese soundbar with a 200w subwoofer for the garage.

Connect bluetooth and you got tunes.

srs answer, I have 3 of these that link together around my house, they sound great and go for around $100 these days, msrp is something crazy like $400. I think I got my 3 for $120 each 3 years ago, I have the Onyx 4

I also have this JBL boombox, and it kicks the chit out of the HK Onxy on every possible way, except I can't link it to other speakers. It's more portable, much louder, 20 hour battery, waterproof, love it.

I have a small 1 car garage and JBL clip 4 does the job for me srs. I like that it fits into a pocket and I can take it with me during the wintertime to prevent battery draining due to low temperature.

I've got 2 Sony SRSXB32 Bluetooth speakers. They connect in stereo and have pretty decent bass for their size. And cool disco lights. Not so cheap for 2 though.

Go on Craigslist and pick up speakers and a receiver for next to nothing. Pick up blue tooth adapter for stereo from Amazon

https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Ada...dp/B016NUTG5K/

Call it a day. If you want it mobile, just buy one of those bluetooth speakers. They usually sh*t the bed at some point and you end up throwing it out.
