Why can't anyone make a car faster than Mercedes!?

Time after time, given the overbearing and specific rule sets, why tf can't anyone make a car faster than Mercedes? How do they still continue to be the fastest, most powerful an most fuel efficient, without the other teams being able to replicate those same numbers? Wtf are they doing? Why can't the other teams figure it out?

The most average skilled driver is winning race after race and it's all because of the car.

Nobody cares about straight line performance brah. Not only that, this thread is specifically about f1. Obviously Mercedes street cars aren't in the top tier of performance.

Also, 200 mph is nothing to scoff at.

Why are you talking about about a piece of machinery that you ditch after warranty? It blows my mind people put up with this nonsense especially when they won't with other consumer goods.

Well, you didn't mention F1 in beginning. And still you're using the term fastest. Fastest refers to highest speed it can sustain.

And hell no 200mph isn't nothing to scoff at......chits probably scary as a mf'er.

Toyota won the last three years at lemans.

The Toyota TS050 Hybrid is a sports prototype racing car developed for the 2016 Le Mans Prototype rules in the FIA World Endurance Championship. The car is the direct successor of the Toyota TS040 Hybrid, which competed in both the 2014 and 2015 FIA WEC seasons. The TS050 was revealed at the Circuit Paul Ricard on 24 March 2016 due to Toyota's 2-year cycle policy.[1] The engine is a 2.4L twin-turbocharged petrol V6, while the two previous cars used a naturally aspirated petrol V8. It features an 8-megajoule hybrid system, which uses lithium-ion batteries.

Cuz they have the most money. F1 has been garbage ever since turbo hybrid era started. I haven't even bothered watching this year but man 2019 (or was it 2018?) Ferrari legit had a chance but Vettel phuked up. Just boring to watch when there's no competition at the top. I'd be curious to see what Max, Lando, LeClerc and all the new young dudes can do in that Mercedes though.

Is it worth watching this year or is it just Mercedes jerking each other off and Hamilton ****fest like it's been for the past 6 years or w/e?

Don't like it. Put them all in the same car and let's see who the true best drivers are.

The dominance is a big reason why I've stopped watching it over the past few seasons.

They should have the F1 team design their production cars.

I want them to do some weirdass shiit with the rules to make F1 more exciting

Like make them only use rotary engines for a few years or gas turbines

Make it some wacky races shiit and see what those engineers can come up with, I'm sure we'd see some dankass innovation
