Kind of surprised that Arabic countries aren't high on the no divorced list. I thought Islam basically forbid it unless the man says it's okay, and then the women are considered useless.
Also not surprised to see the rate is increasing. Most of the people I know who are truly happy with their relationships are on their second marriage because their first was a mistake.

Women have child-like brains, but modern men are taught to respect them as equals. It's inevitable this causes collapse of most marriages, because Women are supposed to be dominated on the biological level, regardless of societal culture that can't ever change.
Treating Women as though they don't have child-like brains was a disaster for the human race.

interesting that the average length of marriage is longer in the higher divorcing countries. unless India, ect werent included.
So it seems the more wealthy a country is the more divorce and the poorer the country the more the husband and wife need to stay together. just seems like survival needs are forcing people to stay together in those countries

DISCLAIMER: I can't prove that my statement is devoid of confirmation bias, however...
What I see is a correlation between each passing generation being more self-absorbed than the last and an increase in people leaving an institution that requires selfless service to another over selfish pursuits of ones own subjective happiness. Makes perfect sense actually and our society promotes it with ear tickling phrases like "live your truth" and "do you" - and they do.
Sin - the self-serving, innate desires of our human nature - is real. The sooner people stop resisting this truth, the sooner we would see improvement.
Just LOL at liberal policies that both promote this sort of degenerate lifestyle on one hand and then seek freedom-limiting policies to deal with the consequences of the former on the other.

This is a total crock of chit, why is "Catholic" listed as separate from "Christian", and "Buddhism" is listed as a religion for some reason.
It also doesn't list what is traditionally the main cause of divorce, which is money/unemployment.
But it's a pretty picture and authoritative sounding so it really rustles the jimminy jamminies.

2. Now that you've cited what the main cause it, it's doubly irrelevant. Point is that divorce is on the rise and the bottom line is it's for superficial reasons people aren't willing to work through - not abuse or infidelity.

And can confirm. I have tattoos. Generally I defend them, but lately I've considered that if I could do it over the only one I'd still get is my wedding ring - I hated wearing a ring and the constant weight loss/gain and sweating of deployment made wearing one worse. On one hand I still think some are neat and ornate, but not sure it jives with my beliefs anymore.

Saying "Catholicism isn't Christianity" is the most insane chit I've heard today. It's the single biggest denomination in Christianity.
2. Would you believe that divorce over income is superficial? Historically, divorce occurred when the man could not supply his wife and kids with an income, usually through losing his job. No cartoon chart with half-assed graphics is going to change that, but you still let it think for you.

12 years is the average length of marriage. Lots of people getting married late 28-32 now, so prepare for lots of single lonely women around age 40-44.

St. Mary? Confession to a priest for forgiveness? Different saints to pray to for different occasions? What even are these things if not repackaged multi-theism? Catholicism is about as much Christianity as Hinduism.
And, only because you asked, I attend an Assemblies of God (Pentecostal) church, but I don't identify as any denomination. I'm Christian. I read my Bible and devote my life to following Christ in the way Paul taught. My adherence to denominational differences has very little bearing on my daily walk. In fact, I disagree with my church on several things, none of which are central to or changes the Gospel, or core beliefs.

This infographic is pretty bad.
Mexicoโs divorce rate is 15% according to the infographic, but the average length of marriage in Mexico according to the infographic is 12 years? The US is 46.2% with an average length of 12.2? Doesnโt make sense.
Then they separate Catholic and Christians, theyโre one on the same. Did they mean Protestants and Catholics? Thatโs makes more sense? But what about Orthodox, Russia is a largely Orthodox nation, is represented on the inforgraphic, so are they looping Orthodox in with Christian?
Too many things donโt add up on this for me to take it as factual.

Dude that's because people don't marry the right person.
Chicks marry some douche bag with money and not the love of her life who they share a spiritual connection with.
If you marry the right person, you can't grow apart, because you evolve together and share a strong bond - thing is though, you have to also work on your self to rid your self of toxicity, because it's what leads to break ups later on down the track.
That's my take on it.

Youโre clearly ignorant to Catholicism, it would be wise for you to do actual research on what the beliefs are, why it practiced the way it is, to ask questions, than to throw out weak easily refuted diatribes.
Oh ironically enough, the whole reason Protestantism took off is largely because the king of one of the most powerful nations wanted to get a divorce!
