Marriage isnt compatible with human nature. Unless we have a strict culture that enforces the norm and shames divorce/cheating, it'll keep going this way and getting worse.
44% of the divorces are 'we just grew apart'. Well no kidding. I dont understand how anyone can confidently say they want to be with this one person 10, 20, 30+ years into the future

The problem is, marriage isn't about love, it's about forming a strong partnership in order to have and raise well adjusted kids. In the west, people are deluded into thinking that the Disney idea of love is real, while Hindus are mostly arranged marriages, and as you can see, they don't get divorced.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

You’re clearly ignorant to Catholicism, it would be wise for you to do actual research on what the beliefs are, why it practiced the way it is, to ask questions, than to throw out weak easily refuted diatribes.
Oh ironically enough, the whole reason Protestantism took off is largely because the king of one of the most powerful nations wanted to get a divorce!

As it is written...
10 I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought. 11 My brothers and sisters, some from Chloe’s household have informed me that there are quarrels among you. 12 What I mean is this: One of you says, “I follow Paul”; another, “I follow Apollos”; another, “I follow Cephas”; still another, “I follow Christ.”
13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized in the name of Paul?
1Cor 1:10-13
However, Catholicism is not doctrinally sound. Vatican 2, Lumen Gentium 16 makes that painfully obvious with their assertion that pretty much any person devoutly following a good life will enter Heaven. This is apostasy by every scope of the definition.
Neither can your Priest listen to your sins, prescribe you a penance, you perform it and then you're all good. We are justified through faith alone in Christ alone. Full stop.
I'd say I know a little more about Catholicism than you think I do. Enough to know to steer clear anyway.

Apparently God needs an editor.
My two cents:
I'm not familiar at all with the apocrypha or deuterocanonical texts, so Catholic rituals may be written down and canon for them
however
The lutherian bible has a consistent logic that pushes forward the sovereignty of God and the power of his sacrifice.
So what can we expect? If you accept the Lutherian bible, then you accept the premise that the religious texts are flawed, but you get a somewhat reasonable religion.
In converse, the Catholic texts demonstrate this to be true just by their sheer ridiculousness and importance placed on cultural norms of the time. Its really just a bridge for Pagans to Christianity, and should have been discarded once fully adopted. It seems it took another millennia.
You can't expect anyone to authoritatively state that these writings are final. That's either a crack in the foundation or the only thing that will push religion forward in the future.

Isn’t it pretty smug to assume that one has the same thoughts as Christ and knows how he will act upon judging someone? Especially when it’s written: Isaiah 55-8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.”

Whittled down to less contradicting? Luther removed books from the Bible and tried to do away with Hebrews and James since they would go against his own theology of being against good works.

The reason this country is collapsing is the same reason the ussr did.
Godlessness.
We need religion again to save us
Godlessness.

Survival. When the jungle tears itself down and builds itself into something new. Guys like you and me, we end up dead. Doesn’t really mean anything. Or, if we happen to live through it, well that doesn’t mean anything either.

So it seems the more wealthy a country is the more divorce and the poorer the country the more the husband and wife need to stay together. just seems like survival needs are forcing people to stay together in those countries

But it's a pretty picture and authoritative sounding so it really rustles the jimminy jamminies.

Lutherian bible doesn't include most pagan rituals, and instead focuses on fundamental elements of its religion. That's less contradicting by virtue of simplicity.
The catholic rituals make no sense.

Thats why I don't plan on getting married and not interested in relationshipmaxxing. Don't know how dudes trust women these days when smartphones/apps allow sloots to sloot at unprecedented levels--if only just for attention/validation that they're still wanted by randoms.

The books had already been written and widely disseminated prior to the council of Nicaea. The council merely reaffirmed which books were written of inspired origin. This was to remove any doubt of fake gnostic books, or perhaps inspired but not for certain books such as Clement, Epistle of Barnabus, etc.
The Lutheran Bible is the exact same Bible as it always has been, minus the Deuterocanonicals of the OT.
The Catholic rituals such as the Eucharist (communion) aka traditional rituals have been going on since the very beginning. As mentioned earlier, the liturgy (another ritual) had already been formed by 111 when Trajan was running around. To say that Catholic rituals make no sense is pure ignorance.

To me, these are some of the most important factors to a great, long, loving relationsship.
1. Love and physical attraction (goes without saying).
2. Remember to show and directly tell your partner how much you appreciate and love them.
3. Talk about your expectations of a relationsship early on.
4. Do unique things together. It doesn’t have to be special, just unique to the two of you. Unique experiences create a stronger bond.
5. Create rituals and traditions.
6. Learn how to fight specifically and say what you want to have happen. For instance… does she not clean the dishes? Don’t say “you are so messy, don’t just leave the dishes like that ”, “you always leave the apartment dirty” or “you never clean anything” but do say “I would like you to clean the dishes”. It’s a random example but the point is to keep it specifically to the behaviour you dislike and not make broad statements about her personality and keep it to what you want, ie. I want you to X, instead of Don’t do X.

Divorces on paper obviously don't paint the full picture, we know that a lot of people back in the day were in bad marriages that couldn't be broken because of whatever societal/religious pressures that are much less prevalent now

The idea of a perfect marriage with the "one" is a huge farce. It died with our grandparents. Nowadays society is too woke and too "me me me" to actually contribute anything to a relationship. People are fukking miserable on their own and are somehow supposed to make someone else's life better? lol, okay. Too many too consumed in the lives of others and not focusing on their own. Too many people misunderstanding genuine actions and emotions because the world is telling them how to feel. I absolutely feel sorry for anyone born in this generation and beyond.
Don't get married. Fuk the government. Do what the fuk you want. Be happy. Done.
