Lack toes in taller ants brahs, what protein powder do you guys use? (reps)

I put my slow bulk on hold to cut a bit for an upcoming beach trip and have noticed that i'm constantly bloated. Couldn't figure out why but have finally narrowed it down to the lactose in my protein powder (MyProtein - Chocolate Smooth hnnggg). Unfortunately I can't do much about the fact that I have been lactose intolerant my whole life and even though I've been taking Whey for 13+ years it has really started to affect me lately.

I get as much protein as I can from whole foods but it's very nice to have the powder for a quick meal so now i'm forced to seek other options.

Tldr

Lactose intolerant
Whey suddenly started messing with my stomach/causing serious bloat
Need lactose free protein powder suggestions in exchange for measlies

These days I can't even tell who is serious and who is trolling on the misc. I know there are a few cricket products out there but you're serious about this? I'm actually very interested

Try lactase pills/powder. Or get whey iso 90% next time (that's what I use). I have the same issue.

the 80% whey "concentrate" that most companies use has a little bit of lactose in it

Will check those out. I just did a bit of research and people seem to like ON Hydro Whey. Its significantly more expensive than the MyProtein I use now but may be worth it

I'm semi-srs (srs)

I think it's pretty expensive though (1kg is $40??), I think cricket protein/flour is about 50% protein calorie wise. No idea how it tastes or if I even want to taste it but apparently raw powder has a nutty flavour, IDK if they make different flavours. It has B12 as well and is dairy free.

There's vegan protein powder as an alternative as well so that may work. If you are worried about being a soyboy there's alot of different kinds of vegan powders. I think they are a bit more expensive and have less of a complete protein profile or that it's used less efficiently than animal protein but probably isn't that significant, just take a little bit more than a scoop I guess? There's pea protein ones I'm actually interested in trying.

Not lactose intolerant, but I use a whey isolate protein powder that can be used by people who are.

Isolyze by Species Nutrition

I've been using the cinnamon donut for several years, but I also really like the pumpkin pie spice.

alot of vegan protein powders don't have soy I think

there's pea protein, brown rice protein, pumpkin seed, etc, some of them are blends for more of a balanced amino profile, though some have soy protein for sure

this one even specifically says soy-free
